Research Interest
I am focusing research in synthetic organic chemistry. The major topic is to establish efficient and novel strategies for chemical syntheses of pharmaceutically active a,b-unsaturated carbonyl compounds and their N- and O-containing heterocycles, such as chalcones, pyrazolines, acridines, and xanthenes, with the help of green catalytic transformation.


Short Biography

Bayu Ardiansah is a permanent lecturer and researcher at the Department of Chemistry – FMIPA Universitas Indonesia since 2016. He received Master Degree in Chemistry in January 2016 with  a work focused on the synthesis of chalcone derivatives.  Bayu teaches Organic Chemistry I & II, Phytochemistry, Stereochemistry, and Determination of Molecular Structure.
