Short Biography

Agustino Zulys is a young chemistry lecturer from the Department of Chemistry of University of Indonesia, Depok, Indonesia. He received BS in Physical Chemistry, M.Sc. And Dr. rer. nat. (PhD) in Inorganic Chemistry at Free University of Berlin Germany under supervision of Prof. Dr. Peter Roesky. After his Ph.D study he worked as post-doctorate fellow in 2007-2008 at Montana State University under supervision of Prof. Dr. Tom Livinghouse for one year. He joined the department of chemistry as a junior lecturer in 1998. Since 2010 until January 2014 he had another duty as head of sub-directorate of community engagement in Directorate Research and Community Engagement University of Indonesia. At that time period was also as the chief of editorial office of Journal Makara Science series, Technology series, Humanities series and Health series. His main scientific interests are in the area of functionalization of coordination compounds of transition as well as lanthanide metals, organometallics for homogeneous catalysis and fluorescence chemosensor, and also food fortification of iron.
