Today, Monday (24/9), at the meeting room A of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Administration Center Building, a number of FMIPA UI educational staff participated in a socialization activity in preparation for the implementation of the Asean University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) assessment for the Physics Undergraduate Study Program and the Biology Undergraduate Study Program of FMIPA UI.
The educational staff who were previously selected to take part in this socialization will later become the people interviewed (Interviewees) by the team. assessor AUN-QA is in the visitation stage.
The visitation phase itself will take place from October 30th to November 1st at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) UI Administration Center Building, Depok Campus.
In addition to the educational staff, the socialization, initiated by Dr. Techn. Djoko Triono, Vice Dean I of FMIPA UI, was also attended by Dr. Ratna Yuniati, Education Manager; Dr. Denny R. Silaban, Head of the Academic Quality Assurance Unit; Dr. Yasman, Head of the Biology Department; Dra. Sitaresmi, M.Sc., Head of the AUN Task Force for the Undergraduate Biology Study Program; Dr. Imam Fachruddin, Head of the AUN Task Force for the Undergraduate Physics Study Program; and Dra. Ariadne Lakshmidevi, M.Eng., Ph.D., Deputy for Quality Assurance for Management, Human Resources, Facilities, Infrastructure, and Financing at BPMA UI.
During the two-hour event, Dr. Ratna Yuniati, Education Manager representing the Vice Dean I, explained that the purpose of this outreach was to establish a common understanding of the importance of study programs at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) UI undergoing regional-level visitations. This alignment of views could foster synergy between elements and units within the faculty.
More specifically, she explained that the visitation and assessment by AUN-QA were an effort to build a quality system aligned with the vision and mission of FMIPA UI.
