Professor of Computational Mathematics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Indonesia (FMIPA UI) Prof. Alhadi Bustamam, Ph. D., appeared as one of the speakers in the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) held by the Directorate of Informatics Application Governance, Ministry of Communication and Informatics of the Republic of Indonesia, Thursday (10/8/2023), at the Verse Luke Hotel, Central Jakarta.
In the FGD entitled Study of Enterprise Dynamic System (EDS) for the Implementation of Electronic Systems (PSE) in the Private Sector, Prof. Alhadi, who is also an expert in Data Science, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence (AI), educated the participants about the basic concepts and management of EDS and its application in managing Big Data, AI, and Data Analytics.
He explained, EDS as Core System which is designed to prepare, process, and manage various variables with the concept of semantic graph analysis that exists in the PSE private scope, utilizing Big Data Analytics, Machine Learning, BI, AI, Data Crawling and others whose sources come from Datawarehouse/Datalake, to then be processed, managed and presented into a variable.
“The goal is to provide more concrete, measurable, and realistic guidance in the design and implementation of EDS so that data management for electronic system organizers (PSE) becomes more optimal,” said Prof. Alhadi.
He continued, explaining that the basic concept of EDS has been implemented in several KLDI (Complete Catalog of Item Lists). For example, the Indonesian Audit Board (BPK) utilized Big Data Analytics in its audit of the 2020 Central Government Financial Report (LKPP).
“Likewise, LKPP, through the development of monitoring and evaluation instruments at a more advanced level by utilizing Big Data Analytics technology and building machine learning, LKPP has developed and carried out prediction until prescription We are using data analysis to predict what the needs will be for the next 10 to 20 years in relation to goods/services/construction,” continued Prof. Alhadi.
Finally, he said that the basic concept of EDS will be very dependent on input variables, both system and data, and will produce a dynamic variable.
Also present as another resource person at this event was Professor of the Bogor Agricultural Institute, Prof. Dr. Eriyatno, MSAE with material entitled “Basic Concepts Enterprise Dinamic System (EDS) and its role in improving organizational performance”.
Quoting from the Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Informatics Number 5 of 2020, PSE or Electronic System Organizer is every person, state administrator, business entity, and community that provides, manages, and/or operates Electronic Systems individually or jointly to Electronic System Users for their own needs and/or the needs of other parties.
Meanwhile, PSE in the Private Sector refers to the provision of Electronic Systems by individuals, businesses, and the public. In short, PSE is a digital platform commonly found on our gadgets or the internet.
