Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Indonesia (FMIPA UI) Inaugurates First Graduates of the Statistics and Geology Undergraduate Program

The odd semester graduation ceremony for the 2018/2019 academic year, held by the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of the University of Indonesia (UI) on Thursday (January 31st) in the Auditorium of the Multidisciplinary Research Laboratory Building of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of the University of Indonesia-Pertamina, Depok, was a significant moment for the undergraduate Geology and Statistics study programs.

This odd semester graduation ceremony marked the graduation of both study programs for their first cohort since their inception in 2015.

Risna Diandarma, S.Si., became the first and only graduate of the undergraduate statistics study program during this odd semester. Risna earned cum laude honors with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.74.

He successfully defended his thesis entitled Distribusi Discrete Lindley in front of the examiners in the thesis session.

Aulya Ulfah Rahmadhani, S.Si., the first and best graduate of the Geology study program, received a certificate of appreciation from the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Indonesia.

Meanwhile, the Geology undergraduate study program produced three first graduates, with the highest GPA of 3.88 achieved by Aulya Ulfah Rahmadhani, S.Si., while the other two graduates: Feri Haldi, S.Si., achieved a GPA of 3.64 and Jessica Adeline, S.Si., achieved a GPA of 3.52.

Aulya successfully defended her thesis entitled Identification of Landslide-Prone Areas Using the Frequency Ratio Model (FRM) and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) Methods in Bogor Regency and Bogor City in front of the examiners in the thesis session.

Due to this achievement, Risna and Aulya succeeded in entering the ranks of the best graduates of FMIPA UI along with 20 other graduates.
