A total of 241 students from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FMIPA UI), were officially conferred their degrees in the Odd Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year. Of this number, 163 were undergraduate graduates, 70 were master’s graduates, and 8 were doctoral graduates.
At this graduation ceremony, FMIPA UI recorded 15 graduates who achieved the distinction of Summa Cumlaude and 34 graduates who earned Cumlaude. At the undergraduate level, 7 students graduated with Summa Cumlaude and 16 with Cumlaude, with the highest GPA of 3.98 achieved by Davin, S.Aktr., from the Actuarial Science Study Program (Summa Cumlaude).
At the master’s level, 5 graduates achieved Summa Cumlaude and 15 graduates earned Cumlaude. The highest GPA of 4.00 was attained by Arifah Dinda Lestari, M.Si., from the Biology Study Program, and Arifrahman Yustika Putra, M.Si., from the Physics Study Program, both graduating with the distinction of Summa Cumlaude.
At the doctoral level, three graduates achieved Summa Cumlaude and two graduates earned Cumlaude. The three doctoral graduates who attained a perfect GPA of 4.00 and graduated with the distinction of Summa Cumlaude were Dr. Vilya Syafriana, Dr. Awal Riyanto, and Dr. Hani Mulyani from the Biology Study Program.

The Dean of FMIPA UI, Prof. Dr. Tito Latif Indra, M.Si., expressed his appreciation for the graduates’ achievements. According to him, their success reflects hard work, perseverance, and consistent academic commitment throughout their period of study.
“We are proud of the achievements of FMIPA UI graduates who have completed their studies with dedication and integrity. The degree you earn today is not the end of your journey, but rather the beginning of a new responsibility to apply your knowledge for the advancement of society and the nation,” he stated.
He added, “FMIPA UI graduates are equipped with a strong scientific foundation, critical thinking skills, and analytical abilities that are relevant to the demands of the times. We hope they will become resilient problem solvers who are responsive to change, uphold ethical values, and continue to innovate across various fields, both at the national and international levels.”
The graduates took part in the Universitas Indonesia (UI) Graduation Ceremony held at Balairung UI, Depok Campus. The rehearsal was conducted on Friday, 13 February 2026, followed by the graduation ceremony on Saturday, 14 February 2026. The ceremony was presided over by the Rector of Universitas Indonesia, Heri Hermansyah.
During the conferral procession, FMIPA UI was represented at the undergraduate level by Dominic Sebastian Gunawan, S.Aktr., from the Actuarial Science Study Program and Bianca Mutiara, S.Si., from the Mathematics Study Program. At the postgraduate level, the representatives were Dhiau Rahman Fikri, M.Si., from the Master’s Program in Physics and Dinda Prastika Nabila Nahda, M.Si., from the Master’s Program in Chemistry. The four representatives symbolically received their diploma tubes from the Rector as a representation of all FMIPA UI graduates.

Overall, during this graduation period, Universitas Indonesia conferred degrees upon 4,428 students, comprising 2,057 graduates from Undergraduate and Vocational Education Programs and 2,371 graduates from Professional, Specialist, Master’s, and Doctoral Programs. A total of 1,459 graduates earned the distinction of Cumlaude, while 256 graduates achieved Summa Cumlaude.
The Rector of Universitas Indonesia, Heri Hermansyah, expressed his hope that the graduates would not only take pride in their academic achievements, but also grow into individuals who demonstrate integrity, adaptability, and global competitiveness.
“UI graduates are expected to become agents of change within society, upholding ethical values, fostering collaboration, and embracing a spirit of innovation in every step of their service and professional endeavors,” he stated.
Several prominent figures were also in attendance at the graduation ceremony, including Indonesia’s Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa; Member of Commission IV of the House of Representatives (DPR RI) Sumail Abdullah; Member of Commission III of the DPR RI and Vice Chair of the DPR Honorary Council (MKD) I Wayan Sudirta; Deputy Minister of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions Ahmad Riza Patria; Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Bima Arya Sugiarto; Chair of the Executive Committee for the Acceleration of Papua’s Special Autonomy Development Velix Wanggai; Vice President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga Achmad Muchtasyar; Governor of DKI Jakarta for the 2017–2022 period Anies Baswedan; Rector of Universitas Indonesia for the 2019–2024 term Ari Kuncoro; as well as Darwin Cyril Noerhadi
