Depok, September 13, 2025 — The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Indonesia (UI), has once again produced outstanding graduates ready to make a real contribution to society. In the Even Semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Year, FMIPA UI graduated a total of 685 students across various education levels, including 567 undergraduates, 107 master’s graduates, and 11 doctoral graduates.
Of the total 685 graduates, 649 participated in the UI Graduation Ceremony held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Balairung UI, Depok Campus. The ceremony was officiated by UI Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.Eng., IPU.
During the graduation inauguration by the UI Rector, FMIPA UI was represented by two graduates from the Bachelor of Geography program, namely Yazid Al Muntashir, S.Si., and Zefanya Cellina Aurawicona, S.Si. Both stepped onto the stage to receive the diploma tubes symbolically, representing all FMIPA UI graduates. The handing over of the diploma tubes by the Rector to the graduate representatives serves as a symbol of graduation and recognition of the graduates’ academic achievements.
During the ceremony, the names of the top graduates were also announced, recognizing those with the highest Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) from each education level.
A total of 17 FMIPA UI graduates received the Summa Cum Laude distinction, while 175 graduates earned the Cum Laude distinction. From the undergraduate program, 144 graduates achieved Cum Laude, and 5 graduates achieved Summa Cum Laude. The highest GPA was attained by Enrico Yauri, S.Aktr., from the Actuarial Science Program, with a GPA of 3.98 and the Summa Cum Laude distinction.
From the master’s program, 24 graduates received the Cum Laude distinction, and 10 graduates received the Summa Cum Laude distinction. The highest GPA (4.00) was achieved by four master’s graduates, namely:
- Rizka Fitriana, M.Si. (Physics Study Program),
- Qanita Hana Amira, M.Si. (Biology Study Program),
- Mohammad Raditia Pradana, M.Si. (Geography Study Program),
- Marzuki Naibaho, M.Si. (Materials Science Study Program).
All four achieved a GPA of 4.00 with Summa Cumlaude honors.
Next, from the doctoral program, the top graduate was Dr. Lepa Syahrani from the Biology Program, who also achieved a GPA of 4.00 with the Summa Cum Laude distinction.
The Dean of FMIPA UI, Prof. Dede Djuhana, Ph.D., expressed his appreciation to all graduates who have pursued their studies with great enthusiasm and dedication.
“Congratulations and best wishes to the FMIPA UI graduates. We are proud of your academic achievements and perseverance amidst the challenges of a dynamic global environment,” he said.
He also emphasized that FMIPA UI graduates are equipped with strong scientific knowledge to address real-world problems in society.
“We believe these graduates will become agents of change who bring positive impact, whether in academia, industry, or the public sector,” he added.
Before participating in the graduation ceremony, the graduates underwent a rehearsal session on Wednesday (September 10). During the session, they had the opportunity to receive congratulations from the Rector and the Dean of FMIPA UI and to take photos on the stage of Balairung UI.
For your information, the total number of Universitas Indonesia graduates in the Even Semester Graduation of the 2024/2025 Academic Year reached 9,817. This figure was conveyed by the UI Rector in his speech and includes graduates from all faculties, the Vocational Education Program, the School of Environmental Science (SIL), and the School of Strategic and Global Studies (SKSG), across all education levels.
The UI graduation series took place over six days, from September 8 to 13, 2025, at Balairung UI. Rehearsals were held from September 8–10 in five sessions, while the main graduation ceremonies were conducted over three days, from September 11–13, 2025.
