Meanwhile, the bronze medal winners were Dimas Prasetya Utama, Zahran Auli Hidayat, and Almaas Sulthona Alandra.

MaG-D is a national-level mathematics competition that tests participants’ abilities in mathematical analysis and geometry. The competition is attended by students from various universities across Indonesia through a series of stages that require analytical skills, precision, and mathematical problem-solving abilities.

The success of the FMIPA UI delegation was also supported by coaching conducted by Hengki Tasman, S.Si., M.Si., throughout the preparation period until the competition was held.

The Dean of FMIPA UI, Tito Latif Indra, expressed his appreciation to the students and mentors who have brought honor to FMIPA UI at MaG-D XVII 2026. “This achievement reflects the strong scientific foundation and analytical thinking skills built through the learning process at FMIPA UI,” he said.

He stated that the achievement is the result of students’ hard work, supported by a conducive academic environment and continuous mentoring. “I hope this accomplishment can strengthen a culture of academic excellence at FMIPA UI and inspire other students to continue achieving outstanding results,” he added.

This achievement serves as evidence of FMIPA UI students’ consistency in academic competitions, while also demonstrating their ability to apply mathematical concepts to solve challenging problems. It is expected that this accomplishment will encourage more students to further develop their academic potential and participate in various competitions at both national and international levels.
