Here are the Total Achievements of the UI Contingent in the 2019 ON MIPA-PT Event

The 2019 National Mathematics and Natural Sciences Olympiad for Higher Education (ON MIPA-PT) has concluded. The event officially concluded with the announcement of the medal winners at the grand finale held at the Al Jibra Auditorium, Muslim University of Indonesia, Makassar.

The UI contingent, represented by 24 students from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) and three from the Faculty of Medicine (FK) of the University of Indonesia (UI), successfully brought home three gold medals in each of the three fields competed: one in physics, one in chemistry, and one in biology.

With a total of three gold medals, UI was declared the second overall winner. In addition to the gold medals, the UI contingent also won seven silver medals: three in physics, two in physics, and one each in chemistry and biology.

Meanwhile, in terms of bronze medals, the UI contingent managed to win three bronze medals, one bronze each for mathematics, physics and chemistry.

In addition, the UI contingent also took home seven honorable mention awards: one honorable mention each for mathematics and physics, two honorable mentions for chemistry, and three honorable mentions for biology.

With all these achievements, the leadership of FMIPA UI appreciates the achievements made by its students who are members of the UI contingent in the most prestigious scientific olympiad.
