The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FMIPA UI), held a Workshop on the Integrity Zone and the Maturity of the Integrated Government Internal Control System (SPIP) on Thursday (February 5, 2026), at the Meeting Room of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Central Administration Building, Universitas Indonesia, Depok. The activity was part of efforts to strengthen Bureaucratic Reform within Universitas Indonesia.
The workshop featured Nelasari, SKM, MKM, Manager of Governance and Public Relations at the Faculty of Public Health (FKM) UI, as the keynote speaker. FKM UI is recorded as one of the faculties within Universitas Indonesia that has achieved the status of a Corruption-Free Zone (WBK) and a Clean and Serving Bureaucracy Zone (WBBM).
Dean of FMIPA UI, Prof. Dr. Tito Latif Indra, M.Si., stated that the development of an Integrity Zone is not merely oriented toward achieving administrative targets, but rather toward sustainable changes in systems and work culture.

“An Integrity Zone should be understood as a long-term process to build transparent, accountable, and service-oriented governance. Therefore, learning from work units that have successfully achieved this status is an important step for FMIPA UI,” Prof. Tito said.
FMIPA UI recorded an improvement in its achievements in developing the Integrity Zone. In 2025, FMIPA UI secured third place in the Universitas Indonesia Zone of Integrity (UI ZI) Award. This achievement marked an increase compared to the previous year, when FMIPA UI was ranked as Second Runner-Up.
According to Prof. Tito, the experiences and materials shared during the workshop are expected to strengthen the work of the FMIPA UI Integrity Zone Team and serve as a reference in formulating strategic steps to reinforce the Integrity Zone at the faculty level, including efforts to encourage FMIPA UI to achieve better results in the national-level Integrity Zone Award.

In her presentation, Nelasari outlined the stages of Integrity Zone development and the implementation of the Integrated SPIP Maturity applied at FKM UI. The material covered preparation for assessment through the Evaluation Worksheet, the framework and components of Integrity Zone development, the interrelationships among indicators, as well as the assessment and designation process for work units awarded WBK and WBBM status.
In addition, the discussion also addressed change management, which includes compliance aspects and reform aspects. The compliance aspects covered, among others, the establishment of a working team, the preparation of an Integrity Zone development plan, as well as monitoring and evaluation. Meanwhile, the reform aspects focused on leadership commitment, mindset change, and the development of a work culture.
The workshop was attended by faculty leaders and administrators within FMIPA UI, including the Vice Deans, the Head and Deputy Head of the Secretariat, the Head of the Academic Quality Assurance Unit (UPMA), managers and assistant managers, as well as members of the FMIPA UI Integrity Zone Team for 2025.
