Interview Selection for the Sakura School Program on Radiation Measurement for Physics Students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Indonesia

FMIPA UI held interviews for several Physics Department students to participate in the program Sakura School on Radiation Measurement.

This third event is being held with seven prospective participants. The prospective participants include four Master’s students in physics specializing in medical physics, one Master’s student in physics specializing in nuclear and particle physics, and two Bachelor’s students specializing in nuclear and particle physics.

Interviews with the seven prospective participants will be conducted by Professor Maharu Nomachi from the Research Center for Nuclear Physics (RCNP), Osaka University, Japan. The interviews will take place on August 6th.

Participants selected based on the interview selection will receive several benefits, including round-trip airfare from Jakarta to Osaka and living expenses during the event, which will be held in November 2018.

Sakura School is a Japanese government program aimed at introducing science to young people in developing countries, partnering with the Japanese government.

This program was first held in 2016 as part of a collaboration between the University of Indonesia (UI) and Osaka University.
