There is a case study provided by the organizer regarding the condition of one of the futures trading companies in Indonesia, PT Delapan Emas Berjangka, which is now affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. After studying the case study, the Triple A team found four things that were suspected to be the main problems that caused PT Delapan Emas Berjangka’s competitiveness to weaken during the COVID-19 pandemic. The four things are the less than optimal method of recruiting marketing staff, lack of public trust in the company, ineffective and increative education and socialization, plus the company is still not well-known.

The availability of complete and detailed information about the company on the website can also increase public trust,” said Angel.
“In addition to creating quality marketers, there needs to be a briefing on the duties and responsibilities of each staff and an agreement on the salary that will be received. And to overcome all that, we offer several programs including 8-Emas Career, 8-Emas On-Boarding, and 8-Emas UI/UX Upgrade,” he added.
Devina, another team member added “I“The innovation that we make can be said to be unique because we do not only make general solutions, but also make programs that can really be run along with financial and risk analysis of the programs we make, along with illustrations of the program’s appearance such as UI/UX Website, etc.,” said Irene Devina or who is usually called Dev continuing.
Irene Patricia, as the team leader, or more familiarly known as Patty, said that she did not find it too difficult to divide the team’s work even though she still felt she did not have enough experience.
“In terms of teamwork division, our team can actually contribute well to each other in all aspects. However, Angel is usually more focused on design matters. We also have a mentor, who is our senior who has previously participated in the competition business case. So, we also ask for suggestions and input from our supervisors,” said Patty.
The competition scheme that they went through started from providing modules and case, making proposals, and the final round, namely presentations.
“First, we were given a case to analyze and create a solution to the problem. Then, the results of the analysis and solution were poured into a proposal consisting of 20 pages and then made a presentation for the final round. The team that made it to the final round will be asked to present their PPT. The duration of the presentation is around 10 minutes, followed by a question and answer session with the jury,” said Dev.
The Triple A team revealed that by participating in the competition, they gained many benefits, especially experience, new knowledge, relationships, development. soft skill seperti: critical thinking, problem solving, and many more.
Closing the interview session, the team leader, Patty, also advised other FMIPA UI students to grow their enthusiasm to join the competition.
