Kunjungan tersebut merupakan salah satu program kerja Himpunan Mahasiswa Departemen Matematika (HMDM) FMIPA UI 2019, yaitu Ekskursi Sinus (Sharing with Alumnus) XIV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dalam ini, para peserta kunjungan berkesempatan untuk mengenal lebih dalam tentang metodologi survey dalam sebuah penelitian yang disampaikan oleh Direktorat Sistem Informasi Statistik, Jodi Jhouranda Siregar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selain itu, ada juga penjelasan secara umum mengenai BPS dan apa saja yang dilakukan BPS untuk membangun negeri Indonesia melalui gerakan cinta data oleh Kepala Bagian Humas BPS, Eko Oesman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dalam penjelasannya, Eko Usman menjelaskan bahwa di tahun 2020, BPS akan melaksanakan program Sensus yang diberi nama Sensus Penduduk 2020. Sensus tersebut akan dilakukan terhadap seluruh penduduk Indonesia di tahun 2020 mndatang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ia berharap para peserta nantinya dapat terlibat dalam program tersebut dengan bergabung menjadi mitra utama BPS, baik sebagai pendamping masyarakat dalam melakukan pengisian data Sensus Penduduk maupun membantu BPS melakukan pengolahan data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHarapannya kalian bisa menjadi mitra utama kami, apalagi latar belakang kalian sudah ada (dari jurusan Matematika dan Statistika),\u201d jelas Eko.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ungkapan Eko pun dibalas tanggapan positif dari Rania Azzahra, salah satu mahasiswa Departemen Matematika FMIPA UI angkatan 2018 yang mengatakan siap untuk menjadi relawan dalam membantu masyarakat sekitar dalam mengisi data Sensus Penduduk 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSebagai mahasiswa berlatar belakang ilmu matematika, saya tentu bersedia membantu menyukseskan Sensus Penduduk 2020 ini, dengan menjadi relawan misalnya, untuk mencari data-data informasi, mungkin dari lingkungan sekitar saya dulu,\u201d kata Rania.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Tuesday (August 27th), 70 students from the Mathematics Department of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Indonesia (UI), visited the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) at Jalan Dr. Sutomo 6-8, Jakarta.
