Ketiga guru besar tersebut terdiri dari Prof. Dr. Jarnuzi Gunlazuardi (bidang Ilmu Foto Elektro Kimia), Prof. Dr. Vivi Fauzia, S.Si. , M.Si. (bidang Ilmu Material), dan Prof. Dr. Drs. Abinawanto, M.Si., (bidang Ilmu Biologi).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ketiganya resmi dikukuhkan oleh Rektor UI Prof. Ari Kuncoro, SE, MA, Ph.D., di Balai Sidang, Kampus UI, Depok, dan disiarkan secara virtual melalui kanal Youtube Universitas Indonesia dan UI Teve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upacara pengukuhan ini menjadi upacara pengukuhan yang pertama yang digelar kembali secara tatap muka, setelah sebelumnya FMIPA UI telah beberapa kali melaksanakan kegiatan serupa secara daring, sebagai dampak dari regulasi pembatasan kegiatan tatap muka akibat pandemi Covid-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. Dr. Jarnuzi Gunlazuardi dalam pengukuhannya menyampaikan pidato berjudul Artifisial Fotosintesis untuk Pengembangan Proses Ramah Lingkungan; Produksi Metanol dan Karbon Dioksida, Amonia dari Nitrogen, dan Hidrogen dari Air. Sedangkan Prof. Dr. Vivi Fauzia, S.Si., M.Si. menyampaikan pidato pengukuhannya berjudul  Potensi Nanomaterial dalam Implementasi Program Pembangunan Berkelanjutan: Kesehatan, Energi, dan Air Bersih, sementara itu Prof. Dr. Drs. Abinawanto, M.Si., menyampaikan pidato pengukuhan berjudul Pemanfaatan Krioprotektan Alami untuk Kriopreservasi Spermatozoa Ikan dalam Upaya Konservasi Ex-Situ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sebelumnya, baik Prof. Dr. Jarnuzi Gunlazuardi, dan Prof. Dr. Vivi Fauzia, S.Si., M.Si. melalui keputusan Menteri Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia telah dinyatakan  memenuhi syarat untuk diberikan kenaikan jabatan sebagai profesor atau guru besar terhitung mulai tanggal 1 Juni 2022. Sedangkan Prof. Dr. Drs. Abinawanto, M.Si., terhitung mulai tanggal 1 Juli 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dede Djuhana, Ph.D. Dekan FMIPA UI menyampaikan ucapan selamat dan apresiasi yang tinggi kepada para guru besar baru tersebut. Beliau berharap agar jabatan baru yang diamanahkan ini dapat memperkuat kualitas keilmuan pada bidang masing-masing, dan memberikan spirit baru bagi sivitas akademika dalam meningkatkan produktivitas karya ilmiah demi perkembangan FMIPA UI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAlhamdulillah, hari ini FMIPA UI menambah 3 guru besar baru. Kami, pimpinan FMIPA UI mengucapkan selamat atas pencapaian para guru besar baru. Karena kami yakin perjuangan ini tidak mudah. Mudah-mudahan jabatan baru ini bisa diemban dengan baik untuk menguatkan kelimuannya masing-masing, sehingga mampu meningkatkan karya ilmiah yang dapat membawa perkembangan fakultas,\u201d ujarnya kepada tim Humas FMIPA UI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lebih lanjut, Dekan mengatakan, bahwa FMIPA UI membutuhkan guru besar yang mampu menjadi pilar penyokong bagi keunggulan serta kemajuan FMIPA UI demi mewujudkan visinya menjadi fakultas sains unggulan di bidang matematika dan sains yang mampu berperan di tingkat global guna memajukan sains dan pembangunan berkelanjutan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSejalan dengan visi FMIPA UI untuk menjadi fakultas sains unggulan, maka peran guru besar ini menjadi penting sebagai pilar penyokong kemajuan FMIPA UI, melalui hasil penelitian dan karya ilmiah yang berdampak bagi masyarakat,\u201d imbuhnya.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Indonesia (FMIPA UI) appointed three new professors simultaneously on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
