Wisnu Wardhana, M.Si. mengatakan, \u201cPenanaman mangrove perlu terus dilakukan bukan hanya sebagai penahan abrasi, tetapi juga sebagai habitat bagi organisme lain, fiksasi karbon, dan cikal bakal pengembangan wisata yang akan meningkatkan perekonomian warga lokal.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beliau menilai Desa Sukajadi cukup potensial menjadi desa percontohan untuk daerah lain melalui budidaya bakau yang sesuai dengan kondisi geografis. Penanaman bakau dengan memperhatikan penataan pada jarak antar bakau, kata Drs. Wisnu, juga memiliki daya tarik tersendiri bagi wisatawan lokal maupun wisatawan mancanegara untuk berkunjung dan belajar mengenal ekosistem bakau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHarapannya, ke depan Desa Sukajadi mampu secara perlahan menjadi desa percontohan untuk daerah lain melalui budidaya bakau yang sesuai dengan kondisi geografis serta disesuaikan pula jarak penananamannya sehingga menarik minat wisatawan lokal maupun asing untuk berkunjung dan belajar mengenai ekosistem bakau.\u201d ujarnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dalam kegiatan ini, tim melibatkan dosen dari Departemen Biologi FMIPA UI sebagai Dr. Retno Lestari, S.Si., M.Si., serta Kelompok Masyarakat Penggerak Konservasi (KOMPAK).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sejalan dengan visi dan misi yang disampaikan ketua tim, masyarakat berharap penanaman mangrove dapat berkesinambungan \u201cKegiatan penanaman bakau tepat sasaran dalam mencegah abrasi dan potensi bencana.
