Melalui laman resminya, QS WUR merilis pemeringkatan menurut subjek atau bidang ilmu. 5 rumpun Ilmu&nbsp;<em>(broad subject area)<\/em>&nbsp;di Universitas Indonesia (UI) berhasil masuk dalam jajaran pemeringkatan internasional. Di antara bidang ilmu itu termasuk tiga dari Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Universitas Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jika pada tahun sebelumnya hanya bidang ilmu&nbsp;<em>Geografi<\/em>&nbsp;dan&nbsp;<em>Fisika dan Astronomi<\/em>&nbsp;rumpun ilmu&nbsp;<em>Ilmu pengetahuan Alam<\/em>&nbsp;yang tercatat dalam pemeringkatan, tahun ini bertambah satu&nbsp;<em>subject<\/em>&nbsp;dengan masuknya bidang ilmu&nbsp;<em>Ilmu Biologi<\/em>&nbsp;rumpun ilmu&nbsp;<em>Life Sciences and Medicine.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tahun 2022, bidang ilmu&nbsp;<em>Geografi<\/em>&nbsp;masih menempati posisi yang sama yaitu 151-200, sedangkan&nbsp;<em>Fisika dan Astronomi<\/em>&nbsp;membuat peningkatan peringkat dari tahun lalu yaitu dari posisi 551-600 ke posisi 501-550, disusul bidang&nbsp;<em>Ilmu Biologi<\/em>&nbsp;berhasil menduduki peringkat 551-600.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dekan FMIPA UI Dede Djuhana Ph.D. menyampaikan rasa syukur dan bangga. Ia berterima kasih kepada seluruh sivitas akademika FMIPA UI. Menurutnya pencapaian ini adalah hasil sinergi dan kerja keras seluruh sivitasnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dengan bertambahnya bidang ilmu di FMIPA UI yang tercatat dalam pemeringkatan, Dekan optimis kedepannya bidang-bidang ilmu lainnya mampu menambah deretan panjang prestasi tersebut. Hal itu bukan tidak mungkin, karena menurutnya FMIPA UI terus mendorong peningkatan reputasi akademik baik di tingkat nasional maupun internasional. Selain itu, jalinan kolaborasi dengan mitra di dalam negeri maupun luar negeri dalam menghasilkan inovasi kreatif juga terus diupayakan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPimpinan FMIPA UI tentu bersyukur dan bangga atas pemeringkatan QS WUR 2022. Ini prestasi bersama, hasil kerja keras bersama dengan banyak pihak terutama para sivitas. Kedepannya, bukan tidak mungkin FMIPA UI meyumbang bidang ilmu lainnya di QS WUR karena kita bersama-sama bekerja keras untuk meningkatkan reputasi akademik, kerjasama dalam dan luar negeri, kegiatan riset dan inovasi-inovasi unggulan juga kita tingkatkan terus\u201d. ujarnya kepada tim humas FMIPA UI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lebih lanjut ia berharap prestasi ini menjadi motivasi bagi sivitas akademika FMIPA UI untuk bersama-sama meningkatkan kinerja, kreatifitas dan inovasi riset, sejalan dengan upaya mewujudkan visi FMIPA UI yaitu menjadi fakultas sains unggulan di bidang sains yang mampu berperan di tingkat global guna memajukan sains dan pembangunan berkelanjutan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The QS World University Rankings by Subject 2022 mencakup total 51 bidang ilmu, yang dikelompokkan ke dalam lima rumpun ilmu. Pemeringkatan ini dirilis oleh QS untuk membantu masyarakat mengenali universitas terkemuka pada rumpun ilmu dan\/atau bidang ilmu tertentu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pemeringkatan perguruan tinggi di dunia berdasarkan bidang ilmu ini ditentukan berdasarkan penilaian atas lima indikator yaitu reputasi akademik, hasil survei global yang dilakukan kepada pengguna lulusan dan kalangan akademisi, jumlah sitasi penelitian yang dicapai universitas per makalah dalam subjek tersebut (semua data kutipan bersumber dari Elsevier Scopus), \u2018H-index\u2019 yang mengukur produktivitas dan dampak penelitian akademisi yang sudah dipublikasikan, dan International Research Network yang mencerminkan kemampuan lembaga untuk mendiversifikasi geografi jaringan penelitian internasional mereka dengan membangun kemitraan penelitian yang berkelanjutan dengan lembaga pendidikan tinggi lainnya.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Good news again comes from The Quacquarelli Symonds World University Ranking (QS WUR) by Subject in 2022.
