FMIPA UI kembali berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan ke 5 kalinya oleh Kantor Humas dan KIP UI. Kegiatan yang berlangsung pada Sabtu-Minggu, 18-19 Februari 2017 di Balairung Kampus UI Depok ini dihadiri lebih dari 26.000 orang pengunjung. Mereka datang dari seluruh penjuru Indonesia untuk mencari informasi mengenai jurusan-jurusan dan fakultas di UI dari sumber yang paling terpercaya. Kebanyakan pengunjung yang hadir paling banyak merupakan siswa siswi Sekolah Menengah Atas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lebih dari 2.500 orang pengunjung datang ke stand FMIPA UI. Mereka sangat antusias bertanya kepada para stand guide yang merupakan mahasiswa dari seluruh departemen dan program studi yang ada di FMIPA UI. Kebanyakan mereka bertanya mengenai program studi, jalur masuk UI, dan peluang karir setelah menempuh pendidikan di FMIPA UI. Kesempatan ini tidak disia-siakan oleh para stand guide FMIPA UI untuk memaparkan kepada pengunjung tentang peluang karir para lulusan FMIPA UI, bahwa para alumni FMIPA UI memiliki peluang karir yang sangat luas di dunia pekerjaan, bahkan untuk menjadi seorang enterpreneur.<\/em>Selama ini masyarakat menganggap bahwa kebanyakan lulusan FMIPA UI berprofesi sebagai guru. Padahal dengan penguasaanbasic science<\/em>para lulusan FMIPA UI dapat berkarir diberbagai bidang keilmuan dan dapat bersaing di era globalisasi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selain stand FMIPA UI yang ramai pengunjung, sesi presentasi FMIPA UI di Ruang Anex pun dibanjiri pengunjung, Selaku Manajer Pendidikan FMIPA UI, Dr. Dian Lestari hadir memberikan pemaparan mengenai perkuliahan di FMIPA UI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan minat masyarakat untuk menempuh pendidikan di FMIPA UI, serta memperluas wawasan masyarakat bahwa kemajuan teknologi yang terjadi pada dunia tak lepas dari peran para saintis.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
