{"id":3113,"date":"2019-07-31T05:43:00","date_gmt":"2019-07-31T05:43:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/?p=3113"},"modified":"2025-08-05T05:45:49","modified_gmt":"2025-08-05T05:45:49","slug":"the-fmipa-ui-community-service-team-creates-a-minatransporter-innovation-to-maintain-the-freshness-and-durability-of-fish","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/id\/the-fmipa-ui-community-service-team-creates-a-minatransporter-innovation-to-maintain-the-freshness-and-durability-of-fish\/","title":{"rendered":"Tim Pengmas FMIPA UI Ciptakan Inovasi Minatransporter Untuk Jaga Kesegeran dan Daya Tahan Ikan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tim Pengabdian Masyarakat (Pengmas) FMIPA UI yang terdiri atas 2 orang dosen, yaitu Retno Lestari dan Mufti Petala Patria, 2 orang asisten, serta 11 orang mahasiswa bekerjasama dengan Yayasan Pandu Cendekia menggelar program IPTEKS bagi masyarakat Kecamatan Sumur, Pandeglang, Banten pada 23\u201325 Juli 2019, melalui Program pengembangan minatransporter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minatransporter merupakan pelet hasil formulasi yang dapat menyediakan oksigen cadangan dan suplai nutrisi di dalam tempat penyimpanan ikan sehingga dapat digunakan untuk memperpanjang masa hidup ikan selama didistribusikan ke pasaran terutama di luar daerah Kabupaten Pandeglang. Nilai jual ikan diharapkan tetap tinggi karena kondisi ikan yang masih segar dan sehat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/biologi.sci-ui.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Sosialisasi-Minatransporter-Kepada-Nelayan-1-300x200-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13484\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><strong>Retno Lestari (Ketua Tim) menyampaikan Sosialisasi Minatransporter Kepada Nelayan<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Ketua Tim, Retno Lestari, memaparkan bahwa Kecamatan Sumur merupakan daerah yang memiliki potensi hasil budidaya perikanan yang tinggi. Namun, permasalahan yang terjadi pada nelayan mereka masih melakukan pendistribusian ikan dengan metode konvensional yang bersifat tertutup. Cara tersebut hanya mempertahankan hidup ikan selama 3 jam pendistribusian. Akibatnya, ikan yang akan sampai ke pasaran mengalami penurunan kualitas sehingga mengurangi harga jual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Berangkat dari permasalahan tersebut, Retno menjelaskan bahwa perlu implementasi IPTEKS untuk memberikan solusi bagi nelayan agar dapat meningkatkan kualitas ikan melalui perbaikan pendistribusiannya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cProgram pengembangan minatransporter bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang sering dihadapi nelayan berkaitan dengan kesegaran dan daya tahan ikan yang didistribusikan ke luar daerah\u201d. jelas Retno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hasil produk minatransporter sebelum diberikan ke nelayan lokal dilakukan uji coba terlebih dahulu. Salah satu percobaan dilakukan terhadap ikan mas dengan rute perjalanan Jakarta menuju Pandeglang. Hasil uji coba mendapatkan hasil yang memuaskan karena ikan dapat bertahan lebih dari 12 jam. Artinya, minatransporter diharapkan dapat mempertahankan hidup ikan hingga 4 kali lebih baik dari metode konvensional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/biologi.sci-ui.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Penyuluhan-Minatransporter-Kepada-Nelayan-1-300x200-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13488\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><strong>Penyuluhan Minatransporter Kepada Nelayan<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Tim Pengmas UI bersama mitra melakukan sosialisasi terkait minatransporter kepada nelayan. Kegiatan tersebut disambut oleh para nelayan dengan antusiasme yang tinggi. Setelah sosialisasi, kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan pengisian kuesioner untuk mengetahui minat nelayan terhadap produk minatransporter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adanya program minatransporter diharapkan mampu membantu masyarakat nelayan Kecamatan Sumur terkait dengan pendistribusian hasil budidaya ikan.
