{"id":3132,"date":"2018-11-30T05:45:00","date_gmt":"2018-11-30T05:45:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/?p=3132"},"modified":"2025-08-05T05:47:11","modified_gmt":"2025-08-05T05:47:11","slug":"cites-implementation-for-shark-and-rays-identification-with-dna-technique-in-trade-and-traceability","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/id\/cites-implementation-for-shark-and-rays-identification-with-dna-technique-in-trade-and-traceability\/","title":{"rendered":"Implementasi CITES untuk Identifikasi Hiu dan Pari dengan Teknik DNA dalam Perdagangan dan Ketertelusuran"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jurusan Biologi, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam UI telah bergabung pada \u2018Bimbingan Teknis Penerapan CITES untuk Hiu dan Pari: Teknik Identifikasi Spesies untuk Perdagangan dan Ketertelusurannya\u2019,<br>yang dipersembahkan oleh Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) dan Direktorat Jenderal Kelautan<br>Manajemen, Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan Indonesia pada tanggal 27-29 November 2018 berlokasi di Muara<br>Baru, North Jakarta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sejak Februari 2003, Hiu dan Pari sudah termasuk dalam<br>Lampiran II tidak selalu terancam punah, namun perdagangannya dikontrol untuk menghindari<br>pemanfaatan yang tidak sesuai dengan kelangsungan hidup mereka. Hingga Oktober 2016, terdapat dua belas spesies hiu dan semua pari manta<br>dan pari setan (yang termasuk dalam subkelas yang sama Elasmobranchii) dimasukkan dalam Lampiran II, dan tidak ada<br>dalam Lampiran I. Namun, semua spesies ikan pari gergaji (yang juga termasuk dalam subkelas Elasmobranchii)<br>dalam Lampiran I (Sumber: CITES).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lokakarya ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan orang-orang yang bekerja di pemerintahan yang secara langsung<br>involve in the chain of sharks and rays trade to implement CITES regulation. Another stakeholder were<br>berasal dari lembaga penelitian dan universitas juga menginformasikan untuk mengetahui tentang morfologi visual dan DNA<br>identifikasi teknik. Dr. Rima Jabado (Proyek Gulf Elasmo), Diego Cardenosa M. Sc. (Stony<br>Brook University), Adeline Seah, Ph. D (WCS), Daniel Fernando (Linnaeus University) were the experts<br>yang memberikan informasi tentang cara mengidentifikasi hiu dan pari berdasarkan keahlian mereka. Stan Shea dari Bloom<br>Asosiasi Hong Kong juga berpartisipasi sebagai salah satu narasumber yang menjelaskan tentang bagaimana hiu<br>perdagangan terutama karena hampir semua ketertelusuran perdagangan hiu diekspor ke Hong Kong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mereka diperlihatkan ribuan potongan sirip hiu dan potongan-potongan produk di gudang yang<br>They were shown of thousand pieces of shark fins and chunks as the products in the warehouse which<br>siap untuk diekspor ke luar negeri seperti Hong Kong, Tiongkok, Malaysia, dan Thailand. Sesuai dengan judul lokakarya ini,<br>tentang identifikasi dengan Teknik DNA, Diego dan Adeline menunjukkan kepada peserta bagaimana<br>mengidentifikasi produk dengan mengambil sampel DNA di gudang. Mereka menunjukkan metode sederhana seperti<br>semua orang bisa melakukannya di lapangan, sementara Rima juga menunjukkan cara mengidentifikasi berdasarkan visual<br>sirip dan bongkahannya, yang hampir semuanya sudah tanpa kepala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dari pelatihan ini diharapkan peserta mampu mengidentifikasi hiu dan pari secara visual maupun<br>secara molekuler.
