Tim Pengmas FMIPA UI yang diketuai Ratna Yuniati menggelar Aksi UI Peduli melalui program \u201cPenanaman Bakau di Lahan Kritis Akibat Tsunami\u201d. Dua puluh orang mahasiswa FMIPA UI turut serta dalam kegiatan ini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Untuk menyukseskan kegiatan ini Ratna dan tim , yakni Retno Lestari, Rezky Aditiyo, Mufti Petala Patria, dan Dimas Haryo Pradana, dibantu 2 orang asisten, bekerjasama dengan Yayasan Pandu Cendekia, UKM Pramuka UI, dan GreenMetric UI, dengan dukungan Direktorat Riset dan Pengabdian Masyarakat Universitas Indonesia (DRPM UI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ratna, menjelaskan rangkaian kegiatan pengmas yang melibatkan 90 warga desa ini terdiri dari sosialisasi dan edukasi mengenai manfaat bakau, mendorong secara kolektif program perawatan tanaman bakau, serta program ekonomi kreatif yang berbasis pulihnya ekosistem muara sungai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/biologi.sci-ui.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Sosialisasi-Bakau-Kepada-Warga-Desa-300x200-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13512\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em><strong>Sosialisasi Bakau Kepada Warga Desa<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lebih lanjut, Dosen Biologi FMIPA UI ini menjelaskan kegiatan sosialisasi dan edukasi ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat bahwa tanaman bakau memiliki peranan yang strategis bagi habitat dan ekosistem.Hal ini, kata Ratna keberadaan tanaman bakau dapat menciptakan ekonomi kreatif yaitu menghasilkan madu alam, habitat kepiting, udang, dan ikan. Bahkan dapat dikembangkan ke arah ekowisata sehingga harapannya dapat meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat lokal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hal ini, kata Ratna keberadaan tanaman bakau dapat menciptakan ekonomi kreatif yaitu menghasilkan madu alam, habitat kepiting, udang, dan ikan. Bahkan dapat dikembangkan ke arah ekowisata sehingga harapannya dapat meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat lokal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Setelah kegiatan sosialisasi dan edukasi kepada warga desa, program ini dilanjutkan dengan melakukan penanaman bakau bersama di sekitar muara sungai Desa Sukajadi.
