{"id":3253,"date":"2018-11-19T06:43:00","date_gmt":"2018-11-19T06:43:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/?p=3253"},"modified":"2025-08-05T06:45:22","modified_gmt":"2025-08-05T06:45:22","slug":"developing-multi-story-crop-cultivation-fmipa-ui-implements-the-krpl-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/id\/developing-multi-story-crop-cultivation-fmipa-ui-implements-the-krpl-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Kembangkan Budidaya Tanaman Bertingkat, FMIPA UI Wujudkan Program KRPL"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lahan pertanian di daerah perkotaan semakin terbatas. Sehingga masyarakat di perkotaan mulai kekurangan ruang untuk bersentuhan dengan budidaya pertanian. Ditambah lagi lahan pekarangan sempit di permukiman padat penduduk umumnya belum dimanfaatkan dengan optimal untuk mendukung ketersediaan pangan keluarga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sistem budidaya tanaman bertingkat merupakan konsep penghijauan yang cocok untuk wilayah permukiman padat penduduk dengan lahan terbatas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dengan latar belakang tersebut, Tim Pengabdian Masyarakat (Pengmas) dari Departemen Geografi FMIPA UI bermitra dengan kader PKK Kelurahan Sukamaju, Kecamatan Cilodong, melakukan kegiatan pembuatan dan pengembangan tanaman bertingkat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ketua Tim Pengabdi Masyarakat, Dewi Susilowati mengatakan, tujuan program pengmas  membentuk kader PKK yang memahami, mempunyai afeksi dan  terampil dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat lokal melalui pengembangan tanaman bertingkat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDengan pengembangan aplikasi teknologi tanaman bertingkat ini diharapkan para peserta mampu memanfaatkan lingkungan rumah yang terbatas untuk menunjang kebutuhan pangan keluarga. Selain kegiatan ini merupakan alih teknologi tanaman bertingkat pada lingkungan rumah diharapkan juga terwujud suasana yang bersih, serta mendapatkan nilai tambah (pendapatan) dari produk yang dihasilkan,\u201d kata Dewi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selain itu, katanya, pengmas bertujuan meningkatkan kemandirian kelompok kader PKK yang telah dibentuk melalui kerja sama penanaman sayuran secara bertingkat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tim pengmas kemudian membuat dan pengembangan tanaman bertingkat di RT02 dan RT07 RW06, Kelurahan Sukamaju.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jenis tanaman sayuran yang dipilih untuk dikembangkan adalah cabai, sawi sendok, selada, kangkung, dan kemangi. Para peserta antusias melakukan kegiatan mulai dari menyiapkan media tanam, menebar benih dan menanam bibit yang telah disemai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cKami bekerja sama dengan Dinas Ketahanan Pangan, Pertanian, dan Perikanan Kota Depok membahas tentang program Kawasan Rumah Pangan Lestari (KRPL),\u201d sambungnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Setelah melaksanakan praktik pembuatan tanaman bertingkat, dilanjutkan pendampingan untuk melakukan pemupukan dan penyiangan tanaman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dilakukan juga penjarangan tanaman yang tumbuh mengelompok agar dapat dipindahkan sehingga tidak saling bertumpuk dan dapat tumbuh optimal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPanen perdana sudah dilakukan pada bulan September. Direncanakan pada akhir Oktober akan dilakukan panen yang kedua.
