Sejalan dengan Rencana Strategis Program Pengabdian Masyarakat (Pengmas) Universitas Indonesia (UI) Tahun 2020-2024 yang salah satunya adalah mengembangkan dan menyebarluaskan ilmu pengetahuan, dan teknologi demi menjawab tantangan persoalan kehidupan yang makin kompleks, tim Pengmas Departemen Geografi Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Universitas Indonesia (FMIPA UI) yang terdiri dari 4 dosen, 2 asisten dosen, serta 6 mahasiswa mengunjungi Desa Situraja Kecamatan Situraja, dan Desa Citengah Kecamatan Sumedang Selatan, Kabupaten Sumedang, Jawa Barat, untuk melakukan pengembangan Geodatabase by name by address, pada tanggal 8-10 Agustus 2022. Geodatabase berdasarkan nama berdasarkan alamat<\/em>, pada tanggal 8-10 Agustus 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kedua lokasi tersebut merupakan wilayah mitra binaan UI untuk menjadikan salah satu pemerintah daerah yang menerapkan teknologi geospasial database dalam melaksanakan berbagai kegiatan berbasis spasial. Dalam kegiatannya, tim didampingi oleh Siti Asyaroh, S.T., M.Si. dari Bapppeda Kabupaten<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ketua Departemen Geografi FMIPA UI Dr. Supriatna, M.T. mengatakan solusi yang ditawarkan dalam pengabdian masyarakat kali ini yakni pembangunan dan pembaruan basis data by name by addres yang terintegrasi pada Desa Situraja dan Desa Citengah. berdasarkan nama berdasarkan alamat<\/em> yang terintegrasi di Desa Situraja dan Desa Citengah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sebelumnya pakar Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) dan Pengnderaan Jauh FMIPA UI itu menjelaskan, Geodatabase merupakan sebuah konsep pengelolaan data relasional yang berisikan data spasial dan nonspasial. Geodatabase memudahkan proses penyimpanan dan pengelolaan informasi geografis pada sistem manajemen data standar<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tim mengawali kegiatan dengan mengekstraksi persil bangunan di kedua desa tersebut dengan cara digitasi di layar<\/em> pada Citra Spasial Resolusi Tinggi, kemudian tim bersama aparat dan warga desa melakukan tagging<\/em> pengisian atribut informasi secara lebih detil tentang warga yang menempati bangunan tersebut, sehingga terbangun database berbasis spasal (geospasial database) by name by address yang dapat diakses melalui aplikasi berbasis spasial dan di Command Center Pemda Kabupaten Sumedang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNantinya masyarakat desa dapat melihat dan meng-update<\/em> data lokasi, nama, dan data-data lainnya (sosial dan ekonomi) dari warga Desa Situraja beserta alamat tempat tinggalnya. Bahkan data geospasial ini juga bisa memberikan gambaran peningkatan pendapatan asli daerah (PAD) dari pajak bumi dan bangunan (PBB),\u201d kata Dr. Supriatana kepada tim humas FMIPA UI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sebelum terjun ke lapangan, para mahasiswa membuat peta digital bangunan, jalan, dan penggunaan lahan lainnya menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) di kedua desa tersebut. Hasil pengolahan data dari kegiatan ini akan dikirimkan ke Pusat Komando<\/em>Dinas Komunikasi, Informatika, Persandian, dan Statistik, Pemda Kabupaten Sumedang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peta digital ini akan dicetak dalam ukuran A0 untuk disampaikan ke dua desa tersebut.
