Statistika merupakan ilmu yang berkaitan dengan data. Dalam perkembangannya, statistika digunakan sebagai sarana untuk menginformasikan proses pengambilan keputusan dalam menghadapi ketidakpastian yang ada di bidang sains maupun humaniora. Hal ini terjadi karena statistika memiliki konsep kerandoman, variabilitas, error, dan probabilitas. Statistika mulai berkembang menjadi bagian dari kombinasi ilmu seperti data science maupun biostatistika.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. Dr. Dra. Titin Siswantining, DEA, melalui penelitiannya yang berjudul \u201cPeran Statistika pada Data Science dalam Memprediksi Intelligence Healthcare Menyongsong Era Society 5.0\u201d, mengungkapkan bahwa data science muncul sebagai kombinasi dari ilmu sains dan ilmu sosial. Ilmu-ilmu yang menjadi penunjang utama dalam data science terdiri atas matematika, statistika, ilmu komputer, sistem informasi, manajemen, dan ilmu komunikasi. Data science menggunakan statistika untuk mengumpulkan, meninjau, menganalisis, dan menarik kesimpulan dari data, serta menerapkan model matematika yang diukur ke variabel yang sesuai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sementara itu, Society 5.0 merupakan sebuah konsep yang mendefinisikan bahwa teknologi dan manusia akan hidup berdampingan dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas hidup manusia secara berkelanjutan. Data science merupakan akar dari teknologi tersebut. Kebermanfaatannya dapat dirasakan di berbagai bidang, termasuk kesehatan (healthcare). Peran statistika dalam healthcare dibantu dengan metode machine learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Machine learning merupakan bidang ilmu yang mengembangkan algoritma atau model yang dapat menggali pengetahuan dari data, sebagaimana proses belajar pada manusia. Machine learning dapat digunakan untuk menggantikan peran manusia terutama untuk data yang besar, kompleks, dan butuh respons yang cepat, seperti di dunia kesehatan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fenomena kesehatan yang melibatkan teknologi dan digitalisasi untuk mendata, mengolah, maupun memprediksi disebut intelligence healthcare. Dalam pemanfaatan statistika dan machine learning di bidang kesehatan, sangat dianjurkan untuk memastikan keadaan data, baik yang siap diolah maupun tidak. Hal ini karena data yang ditemukan sering kali tidak lengkap, tidak terbaca, ataupun data pencilan, yaitu nilai terlalu rendah ataupun tinggi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bentuk penerapan machine learning pada bidang kesehatan yang diintegrasikan dengan proses manajemen perawatan, pemanfaatan, hingga mengakomodasi kebutuhan populasi target dicakup dalam intelligece healthcare. Peran konkret statistika dan data science adalah pada penerapan metode clustering, predicting, dan imputation data. Data yang akan diinput pada kasus intelligence healthcare beragam, mulai dari data microarray, rantai DNA, CT Scan, data pasien, serta data interaksi protein<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pembelajaran mesin dibagi menjadi pembelajaran terawasi, pembelajaran tak terawasi, dan pembelajaran penguatan. Penelitian di bidang kesehatan menggunakan metode pembelajaran mesin sub-bidang pembelajaran terawasi, antara lain Klasifikasi Stadium Retinopati Diabetik Menggunakan Histogram Gradien Berorientasi dan Pembelajaran Dangkal (2018); Pemilihan Fitur Menggunakan Pengklasifikasi Hutan Acak untuk Memprediksi Kanker Prostat (2019); Klasifikasi Kanker Ovarium Menggunakan Regresi Logistik Bayesian (2019); Klasifikasi Multikelas Data Mikroarray Leukemia Limfoblastik Akut Menggunakan Algoritma Mesin Vektor Pendukung (2020); Pemilihan Fitur Berbasis Kernel PCA dan SVM-RFE untuk Klasifikasi Mikroarray Dengue (2020); dan Klasifikasi Covid-19 Menggunakan Pencitraan Sinar-X dengan Pembelajaran Ensemble (2021).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sementara itu, penelitian terkait unsupervised learning dilakukan melalui clustering yaitu metode pengelompokan data yang tidak berlabel. Clustering berkembang menjadi biclustering dan triclustering. Biclustering merupakan teknik data mining yang memungkinkan pengelompokan baris dan kolom matriks secara bersamaan. Sedangkan tricluster dibangun dari dua set data dengan memilih subset fitur dari setiap set data dan satu subset baris yang dibagikan di antara semua baris. Triclustering merupakan perluasan dari metode clustering dan biclustering yang bekerja pada data tiga dimensi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Penelitian berjudul \u201cTriclustering Method for Finding Biomarkers in Human Immunodeficiency Virus-1 Gene Expression Data\u201d mencerminkan peran statistika pada data science dalam memprediksi intelligence healthcare di era society 5.0. Secara umum, society 5.0 merupakan perpaduan dari IoT (Internet of Think), Big Data dan AI (Artificiel Intellegence). Biostatistika merupakan tools dalam memprediksi Intelligence Healthcare seorang pasien di rumah sakit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cKami berharap kedepannya tercipta wadah penelitian atau incubator serta laboratorium Biostatistika di lingkungan FMIPA UI sebagai pelopor Artificial Intelligence\u2013Quality Improvement (AI-QI) di Indonesia untuk menyongsong era society 5.0 yang akan kita hadapi, kata Prof. Titin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Setelah pidato tersebut, Prof. Titin resmi dikukuhkan sebagai Guru Besar Tetap Bidang Ilmu Statistika, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (FMIPA), Universitas Indonesia (UI). Pengukuhan guru besar dipimpin Rektor UI, Prof. Ari Kuncoro, SE, MA, Ph.D. dan disiarkan langsung secara virtual melalui kanal Youtube UI Teve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Acara yang diadakan Sabtu (6\/8) ini dihadiri tamu undangan, antara lain Pangdam Iskandar Muda, Mayjen TNI Moh.
