Pekan kedua setelah kegiatan perkantoran kembali aktif, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Universitas Indonesia menggelar acara Halal Bihalal di Gedung B, FMIPA UI, Depok, dalam rangka memperingati hari raya Idul Fitri 1440 Hijriah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Acara yang merupakan kegiatan rutin tahunan FMIPA UI seusai libur panjang lebaran ini dihadiri oleh Ketua Senat Akademik UI, Prof. Nachrowi D. Nachrowi, M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D., Dekan FMIPA UI beserta jajaran, dosen, ketua departemen dan ketua program studi, ketua dan anggota Dewan Guru Besar, Ketua dan Anggota Senat Akademik Fakultas, Ketua ILUNI FMIPA UI, mahasiswa dan tenaga kependidikan di lingkungan FMIPA UI, serta para mitra FMIPA UI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Agenda acara dibuka dengan pembacaan ayat suci Al-Qur\u2019an oleh Ustd. Ahmad Yasin, sambutan Dr.rer.nat. Abdul Haris selaku Dekan FMIPA UI, Tausyiah oleh Ustd. Abdi Kurnia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0\u201cMohon maaf lahir dan batin\u201d. ucap Haris mengawali sambutannya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Permohonan maaf tersebut disampaikan atas nama pribadi dan seluruh pimpinan FMIPA UI. Dalam sambutannya, Haris  mengajak semua keluarga besar FMIPA UI untuk terus memupuk semangat dalam meningkatkan kinerja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Menurutnya, hal ini sangat diperlukan sebagai upaya untuk memberikan sumbangsih yang terbaik FMIPA UI untuk Universitas Indonesia, mengingat saat ini, UI sebagai Perguruan Tinggi unggulan di Indonesia mengalami banyak tantangan, diantaranya daya saing, kualifikasi dan kualitas tenaga pendidik, dan inovasi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cKesempatan yang baik ini mari kita sama-sama memupuk semangat untuk lebih meningkatkan kinerja kita ke depan. Tantangan UI, Institusi kita yang kita cintai, saat ini tengah berada dalam era kompetisi yang semakin ketat.\u201d. ujar Haris<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sehingga, lanjut Haris, tantangan ini harus direspon dengan cepat dan tepat oleh para pemangku kepentingan di lingkungan FMIPA UI, khususnya kualitas para tenaga pendidik. sehingga dapat meningkatkan daya saing FMIPA UI, dan UI terhadap kompetitor dan daya tarik bagi calon mahasiswa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cTantangan sudah di depan mata, kita harus cepat merespon (tantangan) ini. kita harus siap melakukan perubahan yang signifikan, kalau tidak mau tertinggal.\u201d Imbuhnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Menurutnya salah satu langkah utama, bagi FMIPA UI saat ini adalah dengan menambah rasio dosen bergelar doktor, untuk seluruh program studi, sehingga Ia pun berharap kepada tenaga pendidik FMIPA UI yang masih bergelar magister untuk semangat melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang doktoral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dalam acara ini, Haris memberikan penghargaan secara simbolik kepada para Dosen dan Karyawan purnabakti FMIPA UI yang masa baktinya berakhir tahun lalu dan tahun ini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sci.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/DSC_9123-1024x683-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2383\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Haris juga memberikan penghargaan secara simbolik bagi para mahasiswanya dari jurusan Matematika, Fisika, Kimia, Biologi yang berhasil menjadi finalis dan meraih prestasi ajang ON-MIPA PT 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sci.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/DSC_9141-1024x683-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2387\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Suasana penuh keakraban berlangsung saat acara Halal Bihalal digelar.
