{"id":3549,"date":"2018-01-24T08:36:00","date_gmt":"2018-01-24T08:36:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/?p=3549"},"modified":"2025-08-06T02:39:07","modified_gmt":"2025-08-06T02:39:07","slug":"participants-of-the-2018-winter-school-program-conduct-observations-on-seribu-island","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/id\/participants-of-the-2018-winter-school-program-conduct-observations-on-seribu-island\/","title":{"rendered":"Peserta Program Winter School 2018 Lakukan Observasi di Pulau Seribu"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Studi ekskursi yang dilakukan dalam<strong>The 2nd<sup>Winter<\/sup>School Program<\/strong>bertemakan<strong><em>Tropical Biodiversity and Sustainability: Marine Chapter<\/em><\/strong>dilakukan di Pulau Pramuka, Kepulauan Seribu pada tanggal 16-24 Januari 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pada rangkaian acara tersebut para peserta yang merupakan gabungan dari mahasiswa FMIPA UI dan Universitiet Leiden melakukan beberapa<em>project observasi di bidang kelautan.<\/em><em>Project<\/em>tersebut terdiri dari tema-tema kelautan yang nantinya dikaitkan dengan perihal<em>sustainability<\/em>di pulau tersebut. Tema-tema tersebut terdiri dari<em>The anthropogenic factors toward percentage coral coverage<\/em>&nbsp;,&nbsp;&nbsp;<em>The interaction between macroalgae and lifeform coral in Pramuka Island and Air Island, Seribu Island<\/em><em>,&nbsp;<\/em>&nbsp;<em>Mangrove ecosystem service at Pramuka Island<\/em><em>,&nbsp;<\/em>&nbsp;<em>Ornamental fish trading and its effect on sustainability (Panggang Island case study)<\/em><em>, Sea turtles conversation in Pramuka Island<\/em><em>, Overexploration of edible species in the intertidal zone<\/em><em>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Observasi tersebut merupakan hal baru bagi para peserta, terutama mahasiswa Universiteit Leiden yang memiliki background pendidikan beragam, baik social maupun sains. Mereka juga diharuskan berinteraksi dengan para petugas Taman Nasional Kepulauan Seribu yang berkantor di Pulau Pramuka dan penduduk lokal dengan melakukan interview. Bahkan beberapa topik mengharuskan peserta untuk melakukan<em>snorkeling<\/em>dan belajar mengenai terumbu karang secara spesifik. Hal tersebut tidak menghalangi semangat para peserta untuk bekerja sama dan melakukan observasi dengan baik. Oleh sebab itu, setiap topic para peserta didampingi oleh beberapa dosen, petugas taman nasional, dan juga alumni Biologi FMIPA UI yang ahli dalam bidang kelautan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selain di Pulau Pramuka, beberapa pulau lain juga dikunjungi sebagai lokasi pengambilan data observasi. Untuk topik terumbu karang dan penyu, peserta melakukan kunjungan ke Pulau Air sedangkan kelompok dengan topic<em>ornamental fish trading<\/em>mengambil studi kasus di Pulau Panggang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sebagai pelengkap kegiatan, para peserta juga mengunjungi Area Perlindungan Laut yang terletak di antara tiga pulau, yaitu Pulau Pramuka, Pulau Panggang, dan Pulau Karya. Serta perairan Pulau Semak Daun yang menjadi lokasi semua peserta melakukan kegiatan<em>Island Hopping<\/em>dan<em>snorkeling<\/em>setelah selesai berobservasi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hasil observasi para peserta yang dilakukan selama seminggu tersebut nantinya akan dipresentasikan dalam One Day Seminar Marine Tropical Diversity and Sustainability pada tanggal 25 Januari 2018 di kampus FMIPA UI.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The excursion study conducted inThe 2ndWinterSchool Programwith the themeTropical Biodiversity and Sustainability: Marine Chapterwas conducted on Pramuka Island, Seribu Islands on January 16-24, 2018.
