Penyerahan beasiswa kepada para mahasiswa dari berbagai fakultas di UI tersebut dilakukan secara simbolik di Ruang Apung, Perpustakaan Universitas Indonesia dalam acara seremonial Beasiswa Daewoong tahun 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mahasiswa FMIPA UI yang menerima beasiswa perusahaan farmasi asal korea itu berjumlah 5 orang. Mereka adalah William Renaldi, Chantika Octaviani Putri, Olivia Pamela Madeleine Sitompul, Putra Mahanaim Tampubolon, Anastasia Hengestu. Adapun beasiswa yang diberikan kepada masing-masing mahaiswa adalah sebesar seribu dolar AS atau sekitar 14 juta rupiah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Direktur Kemahasiswaan UI, Dr. Arman Nefi S.H., M.M. menjelaskan bahwa UI terus menjalin relasi dengan universitas-universitas di dunia. \u201cUI berkomitmen untuk berkontribusi di berbagai bidang untuk menghadapi tantangan, nasional, regional, maupun global,\u201d katanya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sebagai perwakilan UI, Arman mengutarakan apresiasi terhadap beasiswa yang diberikan Daewoong Foundation kepada mahasiswa UI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSeperti kita ketahui, tidak semua mahasiswa yang berkuliah di UI didukung dengan kemampuan finansial yang sama.  Karenanya, UI mengapresiasi dukungan dari Daewoong Foundation dalam memberikan beasiswa dan dukungan kepada mahasiswa UI,\u201d lanjut Arman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chief of Researcher Daewong-UI, Eui Nam Lee pada sambutannya mengucapkan selamat kepada mahasiswa-mahasiswa penerima beasiswa. \u201cSaya ingin mengucapkan selamat kepada seluruh mahasiswa penerima beasiswa ini. Beasiswa ini adalah bentuk dukungan dari Daewoong terhadap bioindustri Indonesia yang telah berjalan sejak tahun 2012,\u201d kata Lee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Daewoong Foundation merupakan bagian dari Daewoong Pharmaceutical Co, Ltd, salah satu perusahaan farmasi asal Korea yang telah berdiri sejak tahun 1945. Perusahaan ini telah berdiri di Indonesia dengan nama PT Daewoong Pharmaceutical Company Indonesia pada tahun 2005.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sejak saat itu, Daewoong berkontribusi terhadap kesehatan masyarakat Indonesia dengan ikut memasarkan perangkat medis dan obat-obatan, perizinan, dan transfer teknologi dengan perusahaan lokal, serta di bidang pendidikan.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Monday (April 29, 2019), Daewoong again awarded scholarships to a total of 35 students from the University of Indonesia.
