Untuk memperoleh gelar Doktor Program Studi Ilmu Bahan-Bahan kepada Tjong Po Djun, FMIPA UI menyelenggarakan sidang terbuka Promosi Doktor pada hari ini, Jumat 24 April 2015. Acara dilaksanakan di Gedung C FMIPA UI dengan judul disertasi \u201cViskositas Materi Quark Gluon Plasma<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membangun rumusan viskositas atau distribusi viskositas yang terdapat pada quark-gluon plasma, dan berlatar belakang pada materi plasma yang semakin memiliki peranan penting di dalam dunia industri. Beberapa penggunaan paling umum dari materi plasma diantaranya adalah sebagai material etching<\/em> pada proses produksi semikonduktor, sebagai impurity doping<\/em> pada proses modifikasi material, dan sebagai bahan pengurai limbah kimia yang sangat efektif dan murah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sidang ini diketuai oleh Dekan FMIPA UI yaitu Dr. rer. Nat. Abdul Haris, Bertindak sebagi promotor yakni Prof. Dr. Terry Mart dan ko-promotor Dr. Laksana Tri Handoko. Selain itu turut hadir anggota tim penguji diantaranya, Dr. Bambang Soegijono, Dr. rer. nat. Agus Salam, Dr. Albertus Sulaiman, dan Dr. Handhika S. Ramadhan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hasil disertasi dipresentasikan dengan sangat baik sehingga mendapatkan yudisium Cum Laude<\/strong>. Dengan demikian Dr. Tjong Po Djun menjadi Doktor ke 121 di FMIPA UI dan menjadi Doktor ke 57 di Program Studi Ilmu Bahan-Bahan FMIPA UI.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
