Siwabessy, FMIPA UI, Depok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dalam disertasinya yang berjudul&nbsp;<strong>\u201cPeningkatan Kinerja Bahan Bakar Campuran Bensin-Etanol Menggunakan Aditif MgAl\u2082O\u2084 yang Disintesis Melalui Metode Sintesis Hijau dari Ekstrak Daun Calliandra Calothyrsus\u201d<\/strong>, Dr. Indah berhasil mengembangkan aditif berbasis nanopartikel logam yang disintesis menggunakan ekstrak daun kaliandra merah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sci.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/DSC_3878-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13256\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Penelitian ini dilaksanakan secara intensif di Laboratorium Nano and Interfacial Chemistry (NIC), Departemen Kimia FMIPA UI, serta di Laboratorium Pertamina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aditif logam oksida hasil sintesis tersebut kemudian ditambahkan ke campuran bensin dan etanol (PE10) guna meningkatkan stabilitas oksidasi, daya tahan terhadap korosi, dan performa pembakaran bahan bakar ramah lingkungan tersebut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCampuran etanol dan bensin memang lebih ramah lingkungan, namun masih menghadapi kendala seperti lebih mudah teroksidasi dan menyebabkan korosi pada mesin. Lewat pendekatan sintesis hijau, kami memanfaatkan kandungan alami daun kaliandra seperti flavonoid dan alkaloid untuk menciptakan aditif logam seperti MgO, Al\u2082O\u2083, dan MgAl\u2082O\u2084,\u201d jelas Dr. Indah saat mempertahankan disertasinya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pengujian menunjukkan bahwa PE10 yang diberi aditif logam oksida yang disintesis dari ekstrak daun kaliandra memiliki kestabilan yang jauh lebih baik, tidak cepat rusak selama penyimpanan, serta memberikan perlindungan terhadap karat. Pembakaran juga menjadi lebih sempurna, terbukti dari meningkatnya emisi karbon dioksida (CO\u2082) penanda efisiensi pembakaran, serta menurunnya emisi polutan berbahaya seperti nitrogen dioksida (NO\u2082) dan sulfur dioksida (SO\u2082).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSaya ingin membuktikan bahwa solusi energi masa depan bisa berasal dari tanaman lokal. Tidak harus mahal atau berdampak buruk pada lingkungan,\u201d ujar Dr. Indah kepada tim Humas FMIPA UI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sci.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/DSC_3905-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13257\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sidang promosi doktor ini dipimpin oleh Prof. Dede Djuhana, M.Si., Ph.D., selaku ketua pelaksana sekaligus Dekan FMIPA UI, serta dihadiri oleh Prof. Dr. Yoki Yulizar, S.Si., M.Sc. sebagai promotor, dan Dr. Eng. Haryo Satriya Oktaviano dari PT Pertamina (Persero) sebagai ko-promotor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. Yoki menyatakan bahwa hasil penelitian ini mendukung target nasional untuk meningkatkan kontribusi Energi Baru Terbarukan (EBT) hingga 31% pada tahun 2050, khususnya dalam sektor transportasi yang selama ini bergantung pada bahan bakar fosil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIni adalah langkah nyata menuju kemandirian teknologi energi bersih.
