Mahasiswa internasional ini menempuh pendidikan di UI melalui skema beasiswa, yaitu beasiswa Kemitraan Negara Berkembang (KNB) yang diberikan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Kemendikbudristek) Republik Indonesia, dan beasiswa UI Degree Scholarship for International Student (UI GREAT) yang merupakan program beasiswa unggulan dari UI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8 Mahasiswa internasional yang lulus tersebut berasal dari 5 negara. Mereka adalah mahasiswa asal Pakistan yang berjumlah 4 lulusan, dan negara Palestina, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, serta Kambodja dengan masing-masing 1 lulusan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sci.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/DSC00771-EDIT-2-1024x704-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-550\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sebagai bentuk apresiasi kepada mahasiswa internasional tahun ini, Universitas Indonesia melalui Kantor Internasional menggelar \u201cThe 2024 Degree Awarding Ceremony for Universitas Indonesia International Students\u201d, pada Selasa (23\/7\/2024), di Makara Art Center UI, Depok. Pada Kegiatan pra-wisuda bertajuk \u201cUnveiling Your Great Dreams\u201d ini pula diumumkan lima lulusan peraih Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK) terbaik se-UI, salah satunya berasal dari FMIPA yakni Abdullah H.H. Hassan Palestina dari Program Studi S2 Matematika dengan perolehan IPK 3,86.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wakil Dekan Bidang Pendidikan, Penelitian dan Kemahasiswaan FMIPA UI Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Budiawan menyampaikan rasa bangganya kepada mahasiswa internasional yang lulus pada tahun ini. beliau menyampaikan \u201cMomen ini bukan akhir dari tugas-tugas akademik mereka saja, tetapi juga merupakan awal dari komitmen untuk membangun masa depan yang penuh peluang. Kami yakin bahwa pengetahuan yang mereka peroleh selama menempuh pendidikan di FMIPA UI mampu menjadi landasan kuat bagi kontribusi mereka di tingkat global, dan kami berharap mahasiswa internasional ini dapat terus menginspirasi dan memberi dampak positif di mana pun mereka berada\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kegiatan The 2024 Degree Awarding Ceremony for Universitas Indonesia International Students turut dihadiri oleh 17 perwakilan dari 14 kedutaan besar negara sahabat, yakni Kamboja, Tanzania, Meksiko, Nigeria, Kenya, Fiji, Zimbabwe, Filipina, Iran, Republik Korea, Yaman, Timor-Leste, India, dan Pakistan.
