{"id":4533,"date":"2024-06-27T03:59:00","date_gmt":"2024-06-27T03:59:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/?p=4533"},"modified":"2025-08-06T04:01:53","modified_gmt":"2025-08-06T04:01:53","slug":"adnan-hasyim-wibowo-and-team-win-first-place-at-aapg-seg-2024-international-sustainable-energy-competition-houston","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/id\/adnan-hasyim-wibowo-and-team-win-first-place-at-aapg-seg-2024-international-sustainable-energy-competition-houston\/","title":{"rendered":"Adnan Hasyim Wibowo dan Tim Juara Pertama di Kompetisi Energi Internasional Berkelanjutan AAPG SEG 2024, Houston"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Adnan Hasyim Wibowo, Mahasiswa Program Studi Geofisika Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Universitas Indonesia (FMIPA UI), bersama tim dari lintas fakultas di UI yakni Wildan Bagus Maulana dan Farrel Mukti Attallah (FEB); Rafi Aurelian (FISIP) dan Safry Sitorus (FT), berhasil meraih juara pertama dalam kompetisi internasional \u201cAAPG Sustainable Development in Energy Competition 2024\u201d yang diselenggarakan oleh American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) di Houston, Texas, Amerika Serikat (17\/6).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mereka tergabung dalam Tim MAKARA dari Universitas Indonesia (UI) yang menampilkan inovasi serta solusi kreatif dalam bidang energi terbarukan dan berhasil mengungguli tim lainnya yang berasal dari Hungaria dan India. Proyek Tim MAKARA yang berjudul&nbsp;<em>\u201cCanopi: Enhancing Solar Energy Efficiency and Coffee Yield via Dual-Axis Agrivoltaic Integration with Shade-Grown Cultivation\u201d<\/em>, menarik perhatian dewan juri dengan pendekatannya yang inovatif dalam meningkatkan efisiensi energi surya, dan hasil panen kopi melalui integrasi agrivoltaik dua sumbu dengan budidaya kopi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Proyek Canopi yang diajukan oleh Tim MAKARA merupakan sebuah proyek bisnis eko-sosial yang menggabungkan teknologi energi terbarukan dengan praktik pertanian berkelanjutan. Dalam proyek ini, mereka menggunakan panel surya yang dapat bergerak mengikuti posisi matahari (dual-axis) untuk memaksimalkan penyerapan energi. Panel surya ini dipasang di atas lahan pertanian kopi yang menggunakan metode budidaya di bawah naungan (shade-grown cultivation).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Metode ini tidak hanya meningkatkan efisiensi penyerapan energi surya, tetapi juga memberikan manfaat bagi tanaman kopi yang tumbuh di bawahnya. Tanaman kopi yang dibudidayakan dengan metode budidaya di bawah naungan tersebut cenderung memiliki kualitas yang lebih baik dan lebih tahan terhadap perubahan iklim. Selain itu, integrasi agrivoltaik ini juga membantu mengurangi penguapan air dari tanah, sehingga meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan air dalam pertanian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adnan yang sekaligus merupakan Mahasiswa Berprestasi (Mapres) Program Sarjana Universitas Indonesia (UI) tahun 2024 ini mengungkapkan bahwa keberhasilan tim makara tak lepas dari dukungan pihak universitas, dosen pembimbing, dan seluruh pihak terkait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cKami mendapatkan bimbingan dan dukungan yang luar biasa dari para dosen dan pihak universitas. Mereka membantu kami dalam setiap tahap pengembangan proyek ini, mulai dari penelitian awal hingga presentasi akhir di kompetisi,\u201d ujar Adnan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sci.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Image-2024-07-09-at-14.39.06.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2846\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kepada tim Humas FMIPA UI, Adnan menjelaskan perannya dalam rancangan proyek tim makara. Adnan berperan dalam menganalisis kebutuhan teknis seperti desain alat dan kesesuaian lahan, membuat proyeksi&nbsp;<em>impact&nbsp;<\/em>yang bisa dihasilkan mulai dari&nbsp;<em>energy generated capacity&nbsp;<\/em>dan&nbsp;<em>SDGs impact<\/em>, serta membuat&nbsp;<em>milestone&nbsp;<\/em>untuk implementasi jangka panjang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Safry Sitorus, ketua Tim MAKARA, mengungkapkan rasa bangga dan syukurnya atas pencapaian ini. \u201cKemenangan ini adalah bukti nyata bahwa Indonesia memiliki potensi besar dalam bidang energi terbarukan. Kami berharap proyek Canopi dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat dan menginspirasi generasi muda untuk terus berinovasi demi masa depan yang berkelanjutan,\u201d ujar Safry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kompetisi tahunan AAPG kali ini diadakan secara daring dari Houston dengan melibatkan peserta dari kalangan mahasiswa dan profesional muda di seluruh dunia. Kompetisi ini tidak hanya menjadi ajang untuk memamerkan kemampuan teknis dan inovasi, tetapi juga untuk berbagi pengetahuan dan belajar dari peserta lain yang memiliki visi yang sama untuk masa depan energi yang lebih baik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dekan FMIPA UI Prof. Dede Djuhana menyampaikan apresiasi setinggi-tingginya kepada Adnan dan rekan-rekan satu timnya. Menurutnya, Adnan dan tim telah menunjukkan peran penting dan partisipasinya sebagai mahasiswa dalam pengembangan teknologi pemodelan yang solutif, untuk mendukung pengelolaan dan pengoptimalan sumber energi terbarukan.
