{"id":4692,"date":"2019-10-15T05:06:00","date_gmt":"2019-10-15T05:06:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/?p=4692"},"modified":"2025-08-06T05:09:28","modified_gmt":"2025-08-06T05:09:28","slug":"through-thematic-games-the-fmipa-ui-community-service-team-encourages-teenagers-to-become-agents-of-change-in-addressing-environmental-problems","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/id\/through-thematic-games-the-fmipa-ui-community-service-team-encourages-teenagers-to-become-agents-of-change-in-addressing-environmental-problems\/","title":{"rendered":"Melalui Permainan Tematik, Tim Pengmas FMIPA UI Dorong Kalangan Remaja Jadi Agen Perubahan Atasi Masalah Lingkungan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tim FMIPA UI, yang diketuai Dr. Dewi Susiloningtyas Dosen Departemen Geografi menggelar Program Aksi UI Untuk Negeri bertema \u201cAplikasi Pengetahuan Spasial Pada Remaja Melalui Produk Permainan Ruang Tematik Peduli Lingkungan\u201d, Minggu (13\/10\/2019) di area Setu Pengasinan, Depok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Dewi Susiloningtyas, wanita yang akrab disapa dengan nama Tyas ini menjelaskan, Setu Pengasinan berfungsi sebagai sumber usaha pertanian bagi penduduk sekitar dan juga merupakan objek wisata yang ramai pengunjung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kondisi seperti ini, lanjut Tyas menyebabkan Setu Pengasinan mengalami tantangan permasalahan lingkungan yang cukup serius yaitu sampah, sedangkan tindakan dan upaya terhadap pengurangan sampah masih kurang dilakukan secara efektif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Masalah lainnya di wilayah lingkungan Setu Pengasinan adalah, banyaknya kalangan remaja putus sekolah, kebanyakan dari mereka tidak tuntas hingga jenjang sekolah menengah atas. Sehingga kegiatan program ini sekaligus bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi, sosialisasi, keterampilan, dan komitmen pada mereka dalam melestarikan kebersihan dan konservasi lingkungan setu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cKami mendorong kalangan remaja di Setu ini, sebagai agen perubahan untuk mengatasi permasalahan dan penanggulangan masalah lingkungan\u201d. ucap Tyas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Berlatar belakang hal tersebut, Tyas dan tim yakni Ratri Candra, M. Sos., dan Fika Afriyani, M. Si. menciptakan produk permainan ruang tematik dengan memanfaatkan area Setu sebagai lokasi permainan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dalam permainan tematik ini, tim Pengmas FMIPA UI melibatkan 15 orang peserta berusia 12-14 tahun yang tinggal di area Setu Pengasinan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Kegiatan terdiri dari tiga tahap, diawali dengan ice breaking dan menyanyikan lagu bertemakan lingkungan. Tahap selanjutnya, untuk mengenal kondisi setu secara nyata dan keseluruhan, peserta dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Setiap kelompok diajak berjalan-jalan mengelilingi setu didampingi oleh mahasiswa Geografi FMIPA UI sebagai fasilitator. Tahap ini disebut tour de setu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tahap ketiga adalah kegiatan bermain di Saung Nusantara yang terletak bersebelahan dengan setu. Di sini peserta diajak untuk melakukan pengamatan dan menggambarkan lokasi permainan sesuai dengan ruang aslinya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Permainan yang mengadopsi permainan tradisional monopoli ini, memiliki produk tematik dengan tiga hal penting, yaitu aksi, ide dan kewajiban terkait pengelolaan lingkungan (dana).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aksi, mengharuskan peserta untuk melakukan pergerakan yang dapat mengurangi sampah, khususnya sampah anorganik. Ide, mengharuskan peserta memberikan opini dan solusi terkait hal-hal konservasi di lingkungan setu. Berikutnya adalah dana kebersihan yang mewajibkan peserta untuk berkontribusi dalam kebersihan sekitar setu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Di akhir kegiatan, para peserta menyampaikan pendapatnya mengenai kegiatan permainan ini, dan mereka mulai menyadari untuk berkomitmen menjaga lingkungan sekitar tempat tinggal mereka, yaitu Setu Pengasinan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Baday, misalnya. Peserta berusia 13 tahun ini mengaku senang dan antusias mengikuti permainan ini, dari permainan ini I mendapat pengetahuan baru, bahwa ada 2 jenis sampah berdasarkan sifatnya yakni organik dan anorganik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMainnya asik dan seru, saya jadi tau kalau sampah itu ada yang organik dan anorganik\u201d tutur Baday (13 tahun),<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ada juga Nayla (12 tahun). Ia mengenang kata-kata yang pernah ayahnya sampaikan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cKata bapak saya, dulu itu setu tidak sekotor sekarang.
