Kontingen Universitas Indonesia yang diwakili oleh tim mahasiswa FMIPA UI yakni Rasis Abi Tiana (geologi 2017), Ghozy Alfatih (geofisika 2017) dan Nauvaldi Arfan (geologi 2017) raih gelar juara 3 dalam ajang kompetisi Geoscience Trip and Paper Competition (GEOTRAP) 2019 bidang Geosmart Competition, pada tanggal 7-8 Oktober 2019 di Bandung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Geotrap merupakan ajang kompetisi tahunan bertema ilmu kebumian yang selenggarakan oleh Universitas Padjadjaran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rasis Abi Tiana selaku ketua tim yang diberi nama Geogas ini menyebut Geosmart Competition hampir sama dengan cerdas cermat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ia juga mengungkapkan, beberapa disiplin ilmu yang dilombakan dalam kategori Geosmart merupakan mata kuliah yang sebelumnya telah mereka pelajari di FMIPA UI, seperti Sedimen, Vulkanologi, Geodinamika, Geologi Struktur, Geofisika Lingkungan dan materi Geofisika lainnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Berdasarkan latar belakang disiplin ilmu tersebut Abi dan rekan-rekan satu timnya mantap memilih kategori Geosmart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selain itu, lanjut Abi, Geologi dan Geofisika adalah ilmu kebumian yang saling berkaitan dan melengkapi satu sama lain. Sehingga ia menunjuk salah satu rekan nya yang berasal dari program studi (prodi) geofisika yakni Ghozy Alfatih untuk bergabung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSudah seharusnya Geologi dan Geofisika itu tidak bisa terpisahkan. Karena harus saling melengkapi\u201dujar Abi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tahun ini, ada 3 rangkaian acara kompetisi yang diampilkan Geotrap 2019 yaitu Paper Competition, Geosmart, dan Interprestasi Seismik.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
