Berdasarkan hasil seleksi, sebanyak 353 mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia (UI) dinyatakan lolos dan akan memperoleh kesempatan belajar di universitas top di luar negeri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dari jumlah awardee tersebut, 18 diantaranya merupakan mahasiswa Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (FMIPA). Mereka mendapat kesempatan belajar di luar negeri dengan beragam fasilitas dari pemerintah, yang meliputi transportasi dan akomodasi, tanggungan biaya hidup, hingga jaminan kesehatan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mahasiswa yang berhasil lolos akan diberangkatkan ke negara tujuan masing-masing, untuk mengikuti kegiatan pertukaran pelajar selama 1 semester, yang akan dilaksanakan pada rentang waktu Juli 2024 hingga Maret 2025. Di sana, mereka tidak hanya berkesempatan untuk mengikuti pembelajaran di kelas, tetapi juga mempelajari kebudayaan negara tersebut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dekan FMIPA UI Prof. Dede Djuhana, Ph.D. mengucapkan selamat, dan mengapresiasi para mahasiswanya itu. Dekan menegaskan, bahwa kesempatan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan, serta memperkaya pengalaman, ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi terkini melalui program IISMA sangat luas. Oleh sebab itu, beliau berpesan kepada peserta untuk membuka sudut pandang yang luas, agar nantinya mereka dapat mengaplikasikan pengalaman, dan pengetahuan yang didapatkan tersebut di Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSelamat kepada para awardee dari FMIPA UI. Program IISMA ini adalah kesempatan yang sangat berharga untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai sarana memperkaya pengalaman belajar, dan menambah keterampilan di kampus terbaik di luar negeri,\u201d kata Dekan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cKesempatan ini jangan sampai terlewatkan begitu saja, perluas sudut pandang kalian, agar nantinya pengalaman dan ilmu pengetahuan yang kalian peroleh bisa diaplikasikan di Indonesia,\u201d ujarnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pendaftaran IISMA 2024 sebelumnya telah berlangsung pada Januari hingga Februari 2024. Proses pendaftaran berlangsung secara online, melalui website resmi IISMA. Peserta telah melalui proses seleksi sebanyak empat kali. Keempat tahap seleksi IISMA 2024 meliputi seleksi administrasi, seleksi wawasan kebangsaan, seleksi wawancara, dan seleksi final. Peserta yang lolos keempat rangkaian seleksi akan dinyatakan lolos melalui pengumuman dan surat keputusan (SK) penyelenggara pada Maret 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dalam tiga tahun terakhir, jumlah mahasiswa UI yang mengikuti program ini terus meningkat, yakni 2021 sebanyak 92 orang, 2022 sejumlah 219 orang, dan 2023 sebanyak 363 orang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sebagai salah satu program flagship yang diselenggarakan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia (Kemendikbudristek RI), IISMA merupakan program yang paling banyak diminati mahasiswa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hal tersebut tentu membuat program IISMA menjadi sangat kompetitif, sehingga peserta harus memiliki kesiapan, kemampuan akademis, serta kemampuan berbahasa Inggris yang tinggi. Program IISMA 2024 diumumkan sejak Desember 2023 dan pendaftaran dibuka pada Januari\u2013Februari 2024.
