{"id":4996,"date":"2023-12-18T06:40:00","date_gmt":"2023-12-18T06:40:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/?p=4996"},"modified":"2025-08-06T06:41:39","modified_gmt":"2025-08-06T06:41:39","slug":"ui-faculty-of-mathematics-and-natural-sciences-students-design-mini-hydro-turbines-become-solution-providers-selected-at-the-asia-pacific-solution-forum","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/id\/ui-faculty-of-mathematics-and-natural-sciences-students-design-mini-hydro-turbines-become-solution-providers-selected-at-the-asia-pacific-solution-forum\/","title":{"rendered":"Rancang Turbin Bertenaga Mini-Hydro, Mahasiswa FMIPA UI Jadi Solution Provider Terpilih pada Asia Pacific Solution Forum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dalam sebuah langkah inovatif yang menggambarkan potensi besar pemuda dalam teknologi berkelanjutan, Adnan Hasyim Wibowo, mahasiswa Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Universitas Indonesia (FMIPA UI) Program Studi Geofisika, merancang sebuah inovasi turbin ulir air yang mampu memanfaatkan energi air secara efisien: PARCIS<em>Portable Archimedes Screw<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inovasi model pembangkit Listrik tenaga air untuk skala kecil ini telah mengantarkannya meraih predikat&nbsp;<em>solution provider&nbsp;<\/em>termuda dalam forum bergengsi&nbsp;<em>Asia Pacific Solution Forum (APSF) 2023.&nbsp;<\/em>Melalui inovasinya itu, Hasyim dinilai telah membawa harapan baru dalam bidang energi terbarukan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PARCIS, to be&nbsp;<em>selected solution initiative&nbsp;<\/em>yang inovatif dan praktis, sekaligus mendemonstrasikan komitmen FMIPA UI dalam mengatasi isu-isu pembangunan berkelanjutan, khususnya dalam aspek energi bersih dan terbarukan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PARCIS diklaim bisa menjadi jawaban atas tantangan pemanfaatan energi air di daerah-daerah dengan sumber daya air yang tidak terkelola dengan baik. Terinspirasi dari kegelapan yang menyelimuti daerah sekitar sungai dan selokan pada malam hari, Adnan dan tim terbesit untuk mengubah&nbsp;<em>\u2018waste energy<\/em>ini menjadi sumber penerangan dan energi berkelanjutan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bersama dengan timnya, yakni Ruth Emmanuella Princsillia (Geofisika 2020), dan Jawi Kuncoro Jaqti (Geofisika 2021), Adnan awalnya mengajukan PARCIS untuk mengikuti lomba, dan telah mendapat pengakuan dengan meraih juara pertama, dalam&nbsp;<em>Product Design Competition<\/em>&nbsp;di SOBAT Competition yang diselenggarakan oleh PT. United Tractor, pada Agustus 2022 lalu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPARCIS awalnya hanya sebuah ide untuk lomba, yang alhamdulillah berhasil meraih juara,\u201d kata Adnan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNamun, kami terdorong untuk mengembangkan ide ini lebih jauh, tidak hanya sebagai proyek akademik, tapi juga sebagai solusi nyata yang dapat membawa dampak positif bagi masyarakat.\u201d imbuhnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sci.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/APSF-430-2048x1366-1-1024x683-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2093\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adnan menjelaskan keunggulan PARCIS ialah tidak memerlukan air dalam jumlah besar pada pemanfaatannya, selain itu tenaga Mini-Hydro pada PARCIS juga membuat teknlogi ini mudah dibawa, dan dipindahkan ketika akan digunakan. Keunggulan lainnya tentu biaya yang murah dan ramah lingkungan, karena dalam instalasinya tidak perlu merusak kontur fisik alam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cKomponennya ada rangka, turbin, powerhouse, dan kabel penyalur daya. Jadi nanti air akan masuk ke rangka, dan menggerakkan turbin lalu menghasilkan listrik yang akan disimpan di bagian powerhouse, kemudian disalurkan ke beban seperti lampu jalan, dengan kabel yang tersambung ke powerhouse,\u201d kata Adnan menjelaskan cara kerja inovasinya tersebut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dekan FMIPA UI Prof. Dede Djuhana, Ph.D. mengapresiasi capaian Adnan dan tim. Beliau mengatakan pencapaian Adnan dan timnya merupakan sebuah representasi dari kapasitas FMIPA UI sebagai institusi yang berperan aktif dalam menghasilkan solusi inovatif terhadap masalah-masalah global.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDengan lahirnya PARCIS, mereka telah mengambil inisiatif dalam mengembangkan teknologi yang tidak hanya&nbsp;<em>possible&nbsp;<\/em>secara konsep, tetapi juga berdampak sosial dan&nbsp;<em>feasible&nbsp;<\/em>untuk diimplementasikan,\u201d kata Prof. Dede.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kegiatan bertema&nbsp;<em>Accelerating Local Action for the SDGs in the Asia-Pacific<\/em>&#8221; this, organized by&nbsp;<em>Sustainable Development Solutions Network&nbsp;<\/em>Malaysia, pada 1-2 November 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kegitan&nbsp;<em>solution initiative&nbsp;<\/em>yang dipresentasikan dalam forum ini dipilih dari berbagai ide dan proyek praktis yang melibatkan teknologi baru, metode, model bisnis, mekanisme institusional, model pendidikan, instrumen kebijakan, atau kombinasi dari ini yang dapat mempercepat kemajuan menuju pembangunan berkelanjutan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sci.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/APSF-271-2048x1366-1-1024x683-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2095\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Di forum yang sama, Adnan berbagi panggung dengan para doktor dan praktisi lainnya, menyajikan ide-ide dan solusi yang beragam untuk berbagai masalah global. Diskusi yang diadakan meliputi berbagai topik, dari pembaruan energi hingga inisiatif lingkungan, memberikan wawasan penting mengenai langkah-langkah yang dapat diambil untuk mencapai sustainable development goals (SDGs).&nbsp;<em>sustainable development goals (SDGs)<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selama sesi&nbsp;<em>feedback<\/em>Adnan menerima umpan balik yang konstruktif dari panelis terkemuka. Di antaranya adalah Prof. Woo Wing Thye, Wakil Presiden SDSN Asia dan Profesor Peneliti di Universitas Sunway, serta Tan Sri Sir Jeffrey Cheah, Pendiri dan Ketua Sunway Group. Mereka memberikan pandangan yang mendalam tentang aplikasi dan potensi skalabilitas PARCIS, menyoroti pentingnya inovasi dalam mengatasi tantangan energi terbarukan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dalam sesi&nbsp;<em>talk show&nbsp;<\/em>which was held after the presentation from para&nbsp;<em>solution providers<\/em>yang diadakan setelah pemaparan dari para solution providers, yang dipandu oleh Shazana Mochtar, PARCIS mendapat pujian dari para panelis dan peserta.
