{"id":5016,"date":"2021-08-06T06:43:00","date_gmt":"2021-08-06T06:43:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/?p=5016"},"modified":"2025-08-06T06:45:01","modified_gmt":"2025-08-06T06:45:01","slug":"initiating-3d-printing-innovation-for-agriculture-in-indonesia-fmipa-ui-student-team-wins-achievement-at-the-2021-foa-international-paper-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/id\/initiating-3d-printing-innovation-for-agriculture-in-indonesia-fmipa-ui-student-team-wins-achievement-at-the-2021-foa-international-paper-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"Gagas Inovasi 3D Printing untuk Pertanian di Indonesia, Tim Mahasiswa FMIPA UI Ukir Prestasi pada Ajang International Paper Competition FOA 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tim mahasiswa Geofisika UI angkatan 2020, yang beranggotakan Yudha Adi Putra, Axcell Alfino Imanuel Weken, dan Adhenisa Ratna Augustin (Geofisika 2020) berhasil menjadi finalis pada cabang lomba paper di ajang Festival Of Agroindustry yang diselenggarakan&nbsp;<em>paper&nbsp;<\/em>di ajang&nbsp;<em>Festival Of Agroindustry&nbsp;<\/em>oleh Himpunan Mahasiswa Teknologi Industri Institut Pertanian Bogor dan bekerja sama dengan Villanova University.&nbsp;<em>paper<\/em>&nbsp;dan&nbsp;<em>idea pitching.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Untuk kompetisi&nbsp;<em>paper,&nbsp;<\/em>pada tahap awal, peserta diminta untuk mengirimkan abstrak terlebih dahulu. Abstrak kemudian diseleksi oleh panitia untuk menentukan tim yang lanjut ke tahap pengumpulan full paper&nbsp;<em>full paper<\/em>. At the collection stage&nbsp;<em>full paper<\/em>peserta kemudian diseleksi kembali untuk menentukan 10 tim terbaik yang lolos ke tahap final, yaitu presentasi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ide penelitian yang mereka tawarkan pada ajang kompetisi tersebut berjudul&nbsp;<em>\u201cSmart Farming Technology using 3D Printing as a solution to the Challenge of Realizing Food Security during the transition period of the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia\u201d<\/em>Mereka bertiga menceritakan bahwa ide tersebut dilatarbelakangi oleh salah satu permasalahan pertanian Indonesia, yaitu ketersediaan bahan baku pertanian di daerah yang tidak merata. Selain itu, mereka juga berkeinginan untuk mengembangkan inovasi penggunaan 3D printing di Indonesia yang diterapkan pada sektor pertanian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inovasi yang mereka bawakan dalam kompetisi tersebut adalah pemanfaatan pertanian cerdas dengan menggunakan teknologi 3D printing. Cara kerja dari teknologi tersebut diawali dengan pengumpulan sampel bahan baku, pencampuran homogen, sentrifugasi (memisahkan bulir dengan airnya), pemanasan, pendingan, dan pengaplikasian teknologi 3D printing. Dengan teknologi tersebut, produk pertanian dapat menjadi lebih higienis, tenaga sumber daya manusia yang lebih sedikit, serta lebih ramah lingkungan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cGagasan yang kami presentasikan bisa dibilang unik dibanding para peserta lain, dikarenakan umumnya peserta lain memiliki gagasan tentang suatu pengembangan di pertanian yang sudah pernah ada sebelumnya dan dimodifikasi. Sedangkan, 3D Printing dari kami sendiri masih jarang orang yang diterapkan, apalagi di bidang pertanian.\u201d jelas Axcell sebagai salah satu anggota tim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dalam menyelesaikan penelitiannya, Yudha, selaku ketua tim, bercerita bahwa timnya dapat bekerja sama dengan baik. Selain itu, mereka juga turut dibantu oleh salah satu dosen pembimbing terutama untuk berkonsultasi selama perlombaan tersebut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adhenisa juga mengungkapkan bahwa timnya kerap kali menghadapi tantangan, terutama dalam mengatur waktu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cKalau menurutku tantangan terbesarnya ketika kita bertiga harus mengatur waktu untuk membahas lomba di antara kesibukan akademik dan non akademik. Walaupun kami berasal dari prodi yang sama, tetapi kami memiliki kesibukan yang berbeda. Selain itu, kita juga membutuhkan riset dan waktu yang cukup lama selama waktu pengerjaan tersebut.\u201d kata Adhenisa mengungkapkan tantangan di balik cerita suksesnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>i samping itu, mereka bertiga sepakat bahwa telah mendapatkan banyak manfaat dari pengalaman lombanya tersebut, seperti mengasah kemampuan&nbsp;<em>critical thinking<\/em>&nbsp;dan&nbsp;<em>teamwork<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Which&nbsp;<em>No&nbsp;<\/em>less importantly, we can also get&nbsp;<em>insight<\/em>&nbsp;baru dari tim lain saat lomba.\u201d kata Adhenisa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>International Paper Competition merupakan kompetisi yang menghasilkan karya ilmiah inovatif untuk meningkatkan kesadaran komoditas pertanian sebagai solusi krisis pasca pandemi, di mana kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari rangkaian kegiatan Festival of Agroindustry (FOA). Kompetisi tersebut dimaksudkan untuk mendorong kemampuan siswa dalam mengevaluasi alternatif, mengembangkan inovasi yang komprehensif, dan menyajikan solusi yang memenuhi persyaratan suatu pernyataan masalah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>nternational Paper Competition merupakan<\/em>&nbsp;kompetisi yang menghasilkan karya ilmiah inovatif untuk meningkatkan kesadaran komoditas pertanian sebagai solusi krisis pasca pandemi, di mana kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari rangkaian kegiatan Festival of Agroindustry&nbsp;<em>Festival of Agroindustry<\/em>&nbsp;(FOA).
