Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.Eng., IPU. Acara pengukuhan berlangsung di Balai Sidang UI, Kampus Depok, Rabu (8\/1).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Melalui orasi ilmiah berjudul \u201cAudit Dosimetri untuk Peningkatan Mutu Layanan Radioterapi Eksterna,\u201d ia menyoroti tantangan besar yang dihadapi Indonesia terkait pengelolaan kasus kanker dan layanan terapi kanker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Berdasarkan data Global Cancer Observatory (Globocan), pada 2022 Indonesia mencatat lebih dari 408.661 kasus kanker baru dengan 242.099 kematian. Tanpa intervensi signifikan, jumlah ini diperkirakan melonjak hingga 63% pada 2040. \u201cLayanan radioterapi memegang peranan penting, baik dalam penanganan kanker kuratif maupun paliatif, dengan kontribusi mencapai 50%,\u201d ujar Prof. Supriyanto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Namun, ia menegaskan bahwa radioterapi juga memiliki risiko yang harus ditangani dengan perencanaan matang. Dalam hal ini, audit dosimetri menjadi elemen kunci untuk memastikan akurasi dan keselamatan dalam pelayanan radioterapi. \u201cAudit dosimetri dapat menjamin bahwa dosis radiasi yang diterima pasien sesuai dengan perencanaan, sekaligus meminimalkan risiko kesalahan dalam terapi,\u201d tuturnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lebih lanjut, Prof. Supriyanto menyerukan pentingnya peran Fisikawan Medik dalam mengelola kendali mutu alat radioterapi, baik melalui audit internal maupun eksternal. \u201cPemerintah melalui Badan Pengawas Tenaga Nuklir perlu mengamandemen peraturan agar fungsi ini dijalankan secara optimal.
