Masa transisi dari kehidupan sekolah menengah ke dunia perkuliahan kerap menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi para mahasiswa baru. Tidak hanya harus beradaptasi dengan sistem belajar yang berbeda dan tuntutan akademik yang lebih tinggi, mereka juga dihadapkan pada perubahan lingkungan sosial, tekanan ekspektasi, hingga krisis identitas personal. Di tengah kompleksitas ini, isu kesehatan mental menjadi salah satu aspek krusial yang perlu mendapatkan perhatian serius.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Memahami hal tersebut, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Universitas Indonesia (FMIPA UI) melalui Badan Konseling Mahasiswa (BKM) menyelenggarakan webinar bertajuk \u201cADJUSTING TO UNIVERSITY LIFE: Dari Perspektif Kesehatan Mental\u201d pada Senin (1\/9\/2025).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kegiatan ini dirancang untuk membekali mahasiswa baru FMIPA UI dengan pemahaman dan strategi dalam menghadapi dinamika kampus secara sehat, adaptif, dan resilien. Webinar ini juga bagian dari rangkaian UI Geoscience Seminar (UI GS) yang rutin digelar setiap minggu sebagai wadah edukasi dan pengembangan diri mahasiswa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diselenggarakan secara daring melalui Zoom Meeting, acara yang berlangsung pukul 13.00 hingga 14.40 WIB ini menghadirkan Nina Marliyana, M.Si., Konselor BKM FMIPA UI, sebagai narasumber. Webinar ini diikuti oleh puluhan mahasiswa baru FMIPA UI dari berbagai jurusan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dalam pemaparannya, Nina menekankan bahwa masa adaptasi di universitas adalah fase normal namun krusial, karena menyentuh berbagai aspek dalam diri mahasiswa, mulai dari kemampuan kognitif, kesiapan akademik, keseimbangan emosional, keterampilan sosial, hingga pengelolaan lingkungan baru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPenyesuaian diri yang baik adalah fondasi untuk menjaga keseimbangan hidup. Ini bukan hanya soal nilai dan prestasi akademik, tetapi juga bagaimana mahasiswa dapat menghadapi tantangan hidup kampus dengan resilience (ketangguhan) dan tetap sehat secara mental,\u201d jelas Nina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Webinar juga dirancang sebagai ruang reflektif bagi peserta. Dalam sesi interaktif, para mahasiswa diajak untuk menyelami kembali motivasi dan tujuan mereka dalam berkuliah. Nina memperkenalkan pendekatan SMART Goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound), sebagai kerangka berpikir untuk menyusun target akademik dan pribadi yang lebih terarah, realistis, dan terukur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lebih lanjut, Nina juga menekankan pentingnya membangun rasa memiliki (sense of belonging) terhadap program studi dan fakultas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRasa bangga, syukur, dan komitmen terhadap identitas kalian sebagai bagian dari keluarga besar Geosains dan FMIPA UI dapat menjadi sumber kekuatan, motivasi, dan dukungan sosial yang penting dalam perjalanan akademik,\u201d ujarnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sesi tanya jawab berlangsung dinamis. Para peserta secara terbuka membagikan berbagai tantangan yang mereka alami, seperti tekanan akademik, kecemasan akan masa depan, kesulitan mengatur waktu, hingga hambatan dalam menjalin relasi sosial. Diskusi ini menjadi momen yang sangat berharga karena membuka ruang dialog yang jujur, aman, dan suportif antar sesama mahasiswa dan juga dengan konselor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Menutup acara, Ayunda Aulia Valencia, M.T. selaku moderator menegaskan kembali, bahwa BKM FMIPA UI hadir sebagai ruang aman dan aksesibel, bagi seluruh mahasiswa yang membutuhkan dukungan psikologis, dan pendampingan selama menjalani studi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBKM FMIPA UI hadir untuk mendukung kesehatan mental dan perkembangan diri mahasiswa. Kami menyediakan layanan konseling yang dapat diakses secara mudah melalui tautan s.id\/PendaftaranBKM,\u201dujarnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kegiatan ini ditutup dengan sesi dokumentasi virtual bersama seluruh peserta dan narasumber, menandai berakhirnya sebuah acara yang tidak hanya informatif, namun juga inspiratif \u2014 sebuah langkah awal untuk menciptakan lingkungan kampus yang lebih sehat secara mental dan emosional bagi seluruh civitas akademika FMIPA UI.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
