Seminar ini membahas strategi penting dalam proses eksplorasi dan produksi minyak dan gas bumi (migas), dan berlangsung di Aula Prof. Dr. G.A. Siwabessy, FMIPA UI, Kampus Depok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kegiatan diikuti oleh sekitar 80 mahasiswa dari Program Studi Geologi dan Geofisika FMIPA UI. Dalam seminar ini, peserta mendapatkan pemaparan komprehensif mengenai proses prospect maturation\u2014yakni transformasi sistematis dari lead (indikasi awal potensi perangkap hidrokarbon) menjadi drillable prospect yang siap dievaluasi secara teknis dan ekonomis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sebagai narasumber utama, Achmad Andi, M.T. yang merupakan Exploration geophysicist dari Saka Indonesia Pangkah Limited, menyampaikan materi mengenai pentingnya pendekatan multidisiplin dalam eksplorasi hidrokarbon. Ia menjelaskan bahwa prospect maturation merupakan proses integral yang mencakup evaluasi geologi, geofisika, rekayasa teknik, hingga analisis kelayakan ekonomi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cProspect maturation bukan hanya tentang menemukan cadangan migas. Ini adalah proses pengelolaan risiko dan pengambilan keputusan investasi berdasarkan analisis ilmiah dan ekonomi yang mendalam,\u201d ujar Achmad. \u201cSetiap tahapan dirancang untuk mengurangi ketidakpastian dan meningkatkan kemungkinan keberhasilan eksplorasi.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"470\" height=\"830\" src=\"https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/sci-157-e1758857956769.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5750\" srcset=\"https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/sci-157-e1758857956769.jpeg 470w, https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/sci-157-e1758857956769-170x300.jpeg 170w, https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/sci-157-e1758857956769-7x12.jpeg 7w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 470px) 100vw, 470px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dalam pemaparannya, Achmad juga menguraikan tahapan utama dalam prospect maturation, mulai dari identifikasi awal lead, estimasi volume sumber daya, evaluasi risiko geologis (Probability of Geological Success \/ PoSg), hingga kalkulasi nilai keekonomian seperti Expected Monetary Value (EMV) dan Mean Expected Financial Success (MEFS). Semua data ini menjadi dasar dalam pengambilan keputusan akhir investasi atau Final Investment Decision (FID).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selain itu, peserta juga diajak untuk memahami lima elemen kunci sistem petroleum\u2014yakni source rock, reservoir rock, seal rock, proses migrasi, serta perangkap\u2014yang harus hadir bersamaan secara ruang dan waktu untuk memungkinkan terjadinya akumulasi hidrokarbon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seminar semakin interaktif melalui sesi studi kasus yang disajikan menggunakan platform Mentimeter. Dalam sesi ini, peserta menganalisis penampang seismik 2D untuk mengidentifikasi potensi lead, menilai kelayakannya menjadi prospect, dan mendiskusikan berbagai faktor risiko eksplorasi secara langsung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sebagai penutup, panitia menyelenggarakan sesi kuis interaktif melalui Kahoot! yang bertujuan menguji pemahaman peserta sekaligus menciptakan suasana santai di tengah pembahasan materi yang kompleks. Antusiasme peserta terlihat dari keterlibatan aktif mereka sepanjang kegiatan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kegiatan ini ditutup dengan penyerahan plakat penghargaan kepada narasumber serta sesi dokumentasi bersama seluruh peserta.
