{"id":6281,"date":"2026-01-20T03:23:20","date_gmt":"2026-01-20T03:23:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/?p=6281"},"modified":"2026-01-27T03:24:46","modified_gmt":"2026-01-27T03:24:46","slug":"fmipa-ui-and-pam-jaya-explore-collaboration-in-water-research-and-technology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/id\/fmipa-ui-and-pam-jaya-explore-collaboration-in-water-research-and-technology\/","title":{"rendered":"FMIPA UI dan PAM JAYA Jajaki Kerja Sama Riset dan Teknologi Air"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Universitas Indonesia (FMIPA UI) menjajaki kerja sama dengan Perusahaan Umum Daerah Air Minum Jaya (PAM JAYA) dalam bidang riset dan pengembangan teknologi air untuk mendukung peningkatan layanan air bersih di Jakarta. Penjajakan tersebut dibahas dalam rapat yang digelar pada Senin, 19 Januari 2026, di Pusat Administrasi Fakultas FMIPA UI, Depok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dekan FMIPA UI Prof. Dr. Tito Latif Indra, M.Si., mengatakan kerja sama ini diharapkan mampu menghasilkan solusi ilmiah yang aplikatif bagi permasalahan pengelolaan air. \u201cFMIPA UI memiliki sumber daya keilmuan yang kuat di bidang sains dan teknologi. Melalui kolaborasi dengan PAM JAYA, kami ingin memastikan bahwa hasil riset dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dapat diterapkan secara nyata untuk menjawab tantangan pengelolaan air bersih, mulai dari efisiensi proses hingga pengembangan teknologi yang berkelanjutan,\u201d ujarnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kerja sama yang diinisiasikan FMIPA UI ini mencakup pengembangan riset dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan fokus pada solusi teknis yang aplikatif. Kedua pihak menekankan pentingnya kejelasan tujuan kolaborasi, termasuk penentuan keluaran kegiatan, pembagian peran sesuai tugas pokok dan fungsi masing-masing institusi, serta manfaat yang dapat diperoleh secara timbal balik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sejumlah isu strategis menjadi fokus pembahasan, antara lain pengendalian Non-Revenue Water (NRW), pengembangan zona optimal berbasis air terintegrasi (ZOBAT), penerapan nature-based solution, serta inovasi teknologi water purifier. Kerja sama juga diarahkan pada peningkatan efisiensi energi dan penggunaan bahan kimia dalam proses pengolahan air, penerapan konsep smart water, serta upaya pengendalian tingkat kebocoran guna menekan biaya produksi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>R&amp;DI Senior Manager PAM Jaya Nur Djamaluddin menegaskan pentingnya kolaborasi dengan perguruan tinggi dalam mendorong inovasi layanan air bersih. \u201cSebagai institusi teknis, PAM JAYA membutuhkan dukungan riset dan inovasi yang berbasis sains. Kerja sama dengan FMIPA UI diharapkan dapat membantu kami menemukan solusi yang efektif dan efisien, khususnya dalam menekan tingkat kebocoran, meningkatkan kualitas pengolahan air, serta menjawab tantangan ketersediaan air baku di Jakarta,\u201d katanya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selain membahas rencana kolaborasi jangka menengah dan panjang, PAM JAYA juga menyatakan komitmennya untuk menyerahkan dua unit water purifier kepada FMIPA UI. Penyerahan tersebut direncanakan berlangsung bertepatan dengan peringatan Dies Natalis FMIPA UI yang akan digelar pada Sabtu, 24 Januari 2026. Bantuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi langkah awal kolaborasi sekaligus memberikan manfaat langsung bagi sivitas akademika FMIPA UI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dalam pertemuan tersebut, kedua pihak juga sepakat bahwa kerja sama tidak diarahkan pada penyusunan regulasi, mengingat PAM JAYA berperan sebagai institusi teknis dan bukan regulator. Oleh karena itu, kolaborasi akan difokuskan pada pengembangan solusi berbasis riset dan kebutuhan lapangan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rapat penjajakan ini turut dihadiri oleh jajaran pimpinan FMIPA UI, antara lain Prof. Anom Bowolaksono, Ph.D., Wakil Dekan Bidang Pendidikan, Penelitian, dan Kemahasiswaan, serta Prof. Dr. Ivandini Tribidasari Anggraningrum, S.Si., M.Si., Wakil Dekan Bidang Sumber Daya, Ventura, dan Administrasi Umum.
