Dosen Departemen Matematika Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Univerditas Indonesia (FMIPA UI), Dr. Dipo Aldila, S.Si., M.Si., meraih UI International Short Course Grant 2025\/2026 (EQUITY) Batch 2. Pengumuman resmi disampaikan 13 Februari 2026 oleh Direktur Internasionalisasi Pendidikan UI, Fadhilah Muslim, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., DIC. Keberhasilan ini menegaskan peran FMIPA UI dalam memperluas jejaring akademik global dan mendorong riset kolaboratif untuk menghadapi tantangan pembangunan berkelanjutan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Dipo akan menyelenggarakan short course bertajuk \u201cIntegrating Mathematical Modelling and AI for Public Health and Environmental Challenges\u201d pada 7\u201314 Juni 2026 di Departemen Matematika FMIPA UI, Kampus Depok. Program ini dirancang untuk memperkenalkan integrasi pemodelan matematika dengan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dan Machine Learning (ML) guna menangani masalah kompleks di bidang kesehatan masyarakat dan lingkungan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIntegrasi pemodelan matematika dan AI semakin penting dalam menghadapi persoalan kesehatan dan lingkungan. Short course ini membekali peserta dengan keterampilan membangun model yang akurat,\u201d kata Dr. Dipo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Peserta akan belajar membuat model epidemiologi dan ekologi berbasis persamaan diferensial untuk memahami dinamika penyebaran penyakit serta interaksi ekosistem. Selain pendekatan mekanistik klasik, materi juga mencakup teknik AI\/ML untuk analisis pola, estimasi parameter, dan prediksi sistem. Penekanan diberikan pada model hibrid yang menggabungkan interpretasi matematis dan kemampuan pembelajaran data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Dipo menambahkan bahwa kolaborasi internasional menjadi kunci dalam memperkuat kualitas akademik dan jejaring riset FMIPA UI. \u201cKehadiran mahasiswa internasional dan kerja sama dengan Universiti Malaya memperkaya perspektif keilmuan sekaligus membuka peluang riset berbasis bukti,\u201d ujarnya. Saat ini, partisipasi internasional telah disepakati dengan Mathematical Institute Universiti Malaya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dorong Daya Saing Global dan Kapasitas SDM<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dorong Daya Saing Global dan Penguatan Kapasitas SDM UI International Short Course Grant 2025\/2026 (EQUITY) merupakan bagian dari komitmen UI dalam mendukung program strategis Global Competitiveness. Melalui hibah EQUITY \u2013 World Class University (WCU) 2025\/2026, UI mendorong peningkatan jumlah mahasiswa internasional yang terlibat dalam kegiatan akademik berkredit. Program ini memberikan bantuan dana kepada program studi yang menyelenggarakan perkuliahan singkat (short course) berkredit (minimal 1 SKS) bagi mahasiswa internasional. Kegiatan dapat dilaksanakan secara luring di UI atau secara bauran, dengan materi mencakup perkuliahan, pengenalan bahasa dan budaya Indonesia, serta kunjungan industri. Seluruh mata kuliah wajib tercantum dalam sistem akademik (SIAK NG) dan ditetapkan melalui Surat Keputusan (SK) Dekan tentang RPP Berkredit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pendanaan program bersumber dari anggaran EQUITY (Enhancing Quality Education for International University Recognition) WCU 2025\/2026 yang berasal dari Dana Abadi Perguruan Tinggi (DAPT) Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan (LPDP) dan dikelola oleh UI. Melalui program ini, UI menargetkan peningkatan jumlah mahasiswa dan dosen internasional (inbound) dengan pengakuan kredit. Setiap short course yang didanai wajib diikuti minimal 15 mahasiswa internasional dan lima mahasiswa UI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Peserta luar negeri diutamakan berasal dari perguruan tinggi luar negeri (PTLN) dengan peringkat QS WUR 200. Selain memperkaya wawasan akademik mahasiswa UI dan memperluas perspektif global dalam proses pembelajaran, program ini juga diharapkan berdampak pada peningkatan indikator internasionalisasi, seperti International Student Ratio, International Student Diversity, dan International Faculty Ratio.
