{"id":7236,"date":"2026-08-11T02:19:09","date_gmt":"2026-08-11T02:19:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/?p=7236"},"modified":"2026-08-20T02:21:22","modified_gmt":"2026-08-20T02:21:22","slug":"welcoming-new-students-fmipa-ui-emphasizes-academic-and-character-development","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/id\/welcoming-new-students-fmipa-ui-emphasizes-academic-and-character-development\/","title":{"rendered":"Sambut Mahasiswa Baru, FMIPA UI Tekankan Pengembangan Akademik dan Karakter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Depok, 11 Agustus 2026 \u2014 Sebanyak 892 mahasiswa baru jenjang sarjana Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Universitas Indonesia (FMIPA UI) mengikuti rangkaian Pengenalan Sistem Akademik Fakultas (PSAF) 2026 pada 11\u201313 Agustus 2026. Kegiatan tersebut digelar setelah mahasiswa mengikuti Pengenalan Kehidupan Kampus Mahasiswa Baru (PKKMB) tingkat Universitas Indonesia pada 3\u201310 Agustus 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Puncak PSAF 2026 menjadi momentum penyambutan resmi mahasiswa baru oleh jajaran pimpinan FMIPA UI. Para mahasiswa tersebut diterima melalui sejumlah jalur seleksi, yakni Seleksi Nasional Berdasarkan Prestasi (SNBP), Seleksi Nasional Berdasarkan Tes (SNBT), SIMAK UI, PPKB UI, dan Kelas Khusus Internasional (KKI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dekan FMIPA UI Prof. Dr. Tito Latif Indra, M.Si., menyambut mahasiswa baru sebagai \u201cksatria muda\u201d dan \u201cPioneer Sains Bangsa\u201d. Ia mengatakan, diterima sebagai mahasiswa FMIPA UI bukan merupakan akhir dari perjuangan, melainkan awal perjalanan untuk mengembangkan cara berpikir, belajar, dan memandang berbagai persoalan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNamun perlu saya sampaikan, hari ini bukanlah garis finish, tapi justru sebuah garis start. Hari ini akan menjadi awal dari sebuah perjalanan baru,\u201d kata Prof. Tito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jumlah mahasiswa baru FMIPA UI tahun ini meningkat dari 791 mahasiswa pada 2025 menjadi 892 mahasiswa pada 2026. Menurut Tito, peningkatan tersebut menunjukkan semakin besarnya kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap FMIPA UI. Pada saat yang sama, kondisi tersebut menjadi tanggung jawab fakultas untuk terus menghadirkan pendidikan yang berkualitas dan relevan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"512\" src=\"https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/sci-861.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7238\" srcset=\"https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/sci-861.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/sci-861-300x200.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/sci-861-18x12.jpeg 18w, https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/sci-861-600x400.jpeg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ia menambahkan, proses pendidikan di FMIPA UI tidak hanya berlangsung di ruang kuliah. Mahasiswa juga dapat mengembangkan diri melalui penelitian, pengabdian kepada masyarakat, organisasi kemahasiswaan, kompetisi ilmiah, kepemimpinan, dan kolaborasi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMahasiswa tidak hanya dituntut menguasai ilmu pengetahuan, tetapi juga mampu menerapkannya sehingga memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat,\u201d ujarnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ketua Dewan Guru Besar FMIPA UI Prof. Dra. Wellyzar Sjamsuridzal, M.Sc., Ph.D., juga mengingatkan mahasiswa baru untuk membangun fondasi akademik yang kuat sejak awal masa studi. Menurut dia, kemampuan akademik perlu berjalan beriringan dengan integritas, rasa ingin tahu, dan semangat untuk terus belajar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBangun fondasi akademik yang kuat, jaga integritas, dan teruslah memelihara rasa ingin tahu serta semangat belajar selama menjalani masa studi di FMIPA UI,\u201d ujar Prof. Wellyzar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selain penyambutan, puncak PSAF 2026 menjadi kesempatan bagi mahasiswa baru untuk mengenal lingkungan akademik dan berbagai layanan di FMIPA UI. Materi yang diberikan mencakup struktur organisasi, layanan akademik, kemahasiswaan, penjaminan mutu, riset, hingga layanan pendukung selama menjalani perkuliahan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"512\" src=\"https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/sci-862.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7239\" srcset=\"https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/sci-862.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/sci-862-300x200.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/sci-862-18x12.jpeg 18w, https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/sci-862-600x400.jpeg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pengenalan struktur organisasi Dekanat disampaikan Wakil Dekan Bidang Pendidikan, Penelitian, dan Kemahasiswaan FMIPA UI Prof. Anom Bowolaksono, Ph.D., serta Wakil Dekan Bidang Sumber Daya, Ventura, dan Administrasi Umum Prof. Dr. Ivandini Tribidasari Anggraningrum, S.Si., M.Si.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sementara itu, Kepala Unit Penjaminan Mutu Akademik FMIPA UI Januar Widakdo, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D., memperkenalkan fungsi dan layanan Unit Penjaminan Mutu Akademik kepada mahasiswa baru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Informasi mengenai pengembangan prestasi dan ekosistem kemahasiswaan disampaikan Asisten Manajer Bidang Pengembangan Prestasi dan Ekosistem Kemahasiswaan FMIPA UI Dr. Yulia Mariana Tesa Ayudia Putri, S.Si., M.Si. Adapun ekosistem riset dan hilirisasi sains berdampak diperkenalkan oleh Manajer Ekosistem Riset dan Hilirisasi Sains Berdampak FMIPA UI Zico Alaia Akbar Junior, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai pengalaman berprestasi di lingkungan FMIPA UI, mahasiswa baru juga mengikuti talkshow bersama tiga mahasiswa berprestasi FMIPA UI 2026, yakni Gabriela Audrey Young sebagai Mahasiswa Berprestasi Utama, Cassarah Matakena sebagai Mahasiswa Berprestasi 2, dan Atala Fikri Zaki sebagai Mahasiswa Berprestasi 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"512\" src=\"https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/sci-863.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7240\" srcset=\"https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/sci-863.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/sci-863-300x200.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/sci-863-18x12.jpeg 18w, https:\/\/chem.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/sci-863-600x400.jpeg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FMIPA UI juga memperkenalkan layanan Badan Konseling Mahasiswa (BKM) melalui Konselor BKM FMIPA UI Nina Marliyani, M.Si. Layanan tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan mahasiswa untuk memperoleh dukungan ketika menghadapi persoalan yang berpotensi mengganggu proses belajar maupun kehidupan perkuliahan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMahasiswa tidak perlu ragu untuk memanfaatkan layanan konseling. Kerahasiaan dan privasi mahasiswa tetap kami jaga. Yang terpenting, mahasiswa dapat memperoleh dukungan ketika menghadapi kendala sehingga dapat menjalani proses perkuliahan dan menyelesaikan masa studi dengan lancar,\u201d ujar Nina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Turut hadir dalam puncak PSAF 2026 Ketua Senat Akademik FMIPA UI Adi Wibowo, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D.; Sekretaris Dewan Guru Besar FMIPA UI Prof. Dr. Eng.
