Short Biography
Rika Tri Yunarti completed her master degree and Ph.D. at University of Science and Technology (UST) in joined research with Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), South Korea, under supervision of Dr. Dong Jin Suh (master degree) and Dr. Jeong-Myeong Ha (Ph.D.). Throughout her master studies, she worked for the synthesis of metal-organic frameworks (MOF) and the modification for hydrogen storage. During her Ph.D. studies, her main research topic was preparation of mixed-oxide catalysts for oxidative coupling of methane that focused on the conversion of methane into more valuable components. On 2015, she presented the results at the 249th ACS National meeting & Exposition in Colorado, USA. While doing graduate school, she was occupied as a research assistant at Clean Energy Center of Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) to conduct full time research. She has been a member of Inorganic Division of Department of Chemistry UI since 2009.
Rika has spent most of her life in Jakarta. She prefers to stay warm and doesn’t like winter. She enjoys listening for music, baking, gardening, coffee, social activities, photography, and other art activities. She is a mother, teacher, researcher, and view finder.
