Today, Monday, April 11, 2016, at 09.00 WIB, at the BSM Multipurpose Room of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UI, Depok, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UI, held the 2016 Outstanding Student Selection (MAPRES) Event for the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Indonesia. This event was attended by Ridla Bakri, Drs., M.Phil, Ph.D. as Vice Dean for Education, Research, and Student Affairs, Dr. Dian Lestari, DEA selaku Manager Pendidikan, Dr. Tito Latif Indra as the Venture and Alumni Relations Manager and Chair of the 2016 FMIPA UI MAPRES Committee, Dr. Ratna Yuniati as the Coordinator of the Academic Quality Assurance Unit, the Heads of Departments, the Heads of Study Programs, and the Students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UI.
This event was officially opened by Ridla Bakri, Drs., M.Phil, Ph.D. In his remarks, he expressed his hope that this activity would improve student achievement not only at the faculty and university level, but also nationally and even internationally. He also expressed his hope that the FMIPA UI Outstanding Student Selection would continue to be improved to motivate students to achieve and create a conducive academic climate.
Students who participated in the selection of MAPRES Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences UI 2016 were Rosi Melati & Anita Setianingrum representatives from the Department of Mathematics, Abdul Rachim & Riffal Ruchiandrean representatives from the Department of Physics, Hana Ramadhanti & Muhammad Iqbal Syauqi representatives from the Department of Chemistry, Naylah Muna & Yudisthira Oktaviandie representatives from the Department of Biology, Angga Dunia Saputra & Hana Zahira Syarif representatives from the Department of Geography.
The Outstanding Student Selection is conducted in stages. The first stage of selection is conducted in each department, with the results sent to the faculty, complete with a paper, a summary of the paper in English, a CV, and proof of achievement. The second stage of selection is conducted at the faculty with the following agenda:
– Paper presentation on April 11, 2016, held in the Multipurpose Room of the BSM Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UI.
– CV assessment on April 11-12, 2016
– Presentation and discussion in English on April 12, 2016, held in the Multipurpose Room of the BSM Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UI.
– The jury meeting to determine the winner was held on April 14 2016 in Meeting Room A, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UI.
– Faculty level winners were announced on April 15, 2016 at the BSM Multipurpose Room, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UI.
