INTRODUCTION
Profile Of Our Doctoral Program
The Chemical Science Doctoral Study Program FMIPA UI has a vision to become a center for education and study of chemistry with an inter, multi, and transdisciplinary approach, and gain international recognition. The program focuses on research that supports the fields of energy, environment, health, and food safety.
There are two study pathways, the Regular Pathway and the Research Pathway. The Regular Track combines compulsory and elective courses and research activities, while the Research Track emphasizes research from the beginning of the study with literature review-based learning and dissertation preparation. Both pathways aim to produce graduates with high competence who are able to solve problems scientifically, innovatively, and tested.
This program has a three-year study duration with a total load of 88 credits. Graduates are required to produce scientific publications in Scopus-indexed international journals and produce nationally and internationally recognized dissertations. Graduate learning outcomes include advanced research skills, application of chemistry in innovative solutions, and preparation of research roadmaps relevant to global needs.
With excellent accreditation from BAN-PT and a curriculum that follows the development of the Industrial Revolution 5.0, this program aims to produce doctors who are ready to compete at the national and international levels.
