The academic regulation of the Department of Chemistry FMIPA UI is a guide/ guideline issued by the University of Indonesia for teaching staff, administrative staff and students of the Department of Chemistry FMIPA UI in carrying out their academic activities. Academic Regulations is a digital archive repository of academic regulation books containing various regulations issued by the University of Indonesia in the form of resolutions of the Board of Trustees of the University of Indonesia, decisions of the Board of Trustees of the University of Indonesia, regulations of the Board of Trustees of the University of Indonesia, decisions of the rector of the University of Indonesia and the Memorandum of the dean of FMIPA UI.

College Track Masters Program
  1. Number of credits:
    • The total study load is 54 credits, consisting of compulsory courses, elective courses, and final project (thesis).
  2. Study period:
    • The regular study period is designed to be taken in 4 semesters (2 years).
    • The minimum study period is 3 semesters (1.5 years).
    • The maximum study period is 6 semesters (3 years).
The Research Track Master Program
  1. Number of credits:
    • The Total study load is 54 credits, with a greater focus on research. Courses are tailored to directly support the research and thesis development process.
  2. Study period:
    • The regular study period is designed to be taken in 4 semesters (2 years).
    • The minimum study period is 3 semesters (1.5 years).
    • The maximum study period is 6 semesters (3 years).
College – Research Doctoral Program
  1. Number of credits:
    • The total study load is 88 credits, consisting of compulsory courses, elective courses, research activities, and dissertations.
  2. Study period:
    • The regular study period is designed to be taken in 6 semesters (3 years).
    • The minimum study period is 4 semesters (2 years).
    • The maximum study period is 10 semesters (5 years).
  3. Study focus:
    • Students begin by completing a number of compulsory and elective courses in the initial semester, before focusing fully on research and dissertation writing in the following semester.
The Research Track Doctoral Program
  1. Number of credits:
    • The total study load is 88 credits, with the main focus on research since the beginning of the study. Courses are limited to those that directly support research.
  2. Study period:
    • The regular study period is designed to be taken in 6 semesters (3 years).
    • The minimum study period is 4 semesters (2 years).
    • The maximum study period is 10 semesters (5 years).
  3. Study focus:
    • Students immediately begin research under the supervision of a supervisor with the support of selected courses to help strengthen the scientific base in the development of a dissertation.
Differences
  1. College-Research pathway: students begin with a combination of college and research.
  2. Research path: students focus on research from the beginning, with fewer courses.
