The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FMIPA UI) once again demonstrated its commitment to the development of the Integrity Zone (ZI) by receiving a visitation and interview from the judging team of the Integrity Zone Award 2025. This effort reflects FMIPA UI’s commitment and strategic step in realizing a Corruption-Free Zone (WBK) as well as a Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Zone (WBBM), which serve as the foundation for transparent governance and quality public services.
Translation: The event took place on Tuesday (August 19, 2025), at the Auditorium of the Pertamina Multidisciplinary Research Laboratory Building, FMIPA UI, and was attended by various stakeholders to strengthen governance and the quality of public services within FMIPA UI.
The panel of judges from the Organizational Transformation Division, Bureau of Organization and Human Resources, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, led by Widodo Budi Siswanto, conducted a series of evaluations on the achievements and implementation of the Integrity Zone development at FMIPA UI.
The FMIPA UI Integrity Zone (ZI) Team, led by Prof. Dr. Tito Latif Indra, S.Si., M.Si., Vice Dean for Resources, Ventures, and General Administration, also accompanied this visitation. The team consists of area managers focusing on change management, governance structuring, human resource management systems, strengthening supervision, and improving public services, along with other supporting teams.

In his remarks, the Dean of FMIPA UI, Prof. Dede Djuhana, Ph.D., stated, “We hope that the Integrity Zone program will continue sustainably as a foundation for transparent and accountable governance, as well as excellent public services. Last year, FMIPA UI won the 2nd Runner-Up Integrity Zone Award within UI, which has motivated us to keep innovating and improving quality.”
The Dean emphasized that FMIPA UI is further strengthening the commitment and synergy of the entire academic community in building a clean, professional bureaucracy that is oriented toward delivering the best services.
“We are optimistic that this achievement can improve this year, along with the strengthened commitment to building a clean, professional bureaucracy that serves wholeheartedly,” he stated.

Meanwhile, the Chair of the Integrity Zone Award 2025 judging panel, Widodo Budi Siswanto, stated, “The development of the Integrity Zone is a highly important strategic step in promoting better and more professional governance within FMIPA UI. We see a strong commitment from the entire team involved, and this will serve as the foundation for improving the quality of bureaucracy and sustainable public services.”
The event was also attended by Dr. Filia, M.Si., Head of the Subdirectorate for Cultural and Governance Transformation at Universitas Indonesia, who expressed support for the faculty’s efforts in cultural transformation.

The presentation on the progress of FMIPA UI’s Integrity Zone over the years also became an important part of the agenda. The Dean explained that since 2022, FMIPA UI has fostered a shared commitment and synergy across units, followed by the implementation of excellent management, innovation, supervision, and monitoring in 2023. In 2024, the focus shifted to performance-based assessment and IT-based management to build the Integrity Zone toward a Corruption-Free Zone (WBK). In 2025, FMIPA UI continues to strengthen the development of the Integrity Zone toward a Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Zone (WBBM).
In addition, the Dean also presented various key aspects in the management of the Faculty, such as change management, governance structuring, human resource management, strengthening performance accountability, supervision, improvement and innovation in public services, as well as the achievements of FMIPA UI to date.

The event continued with a field visitation by the judging team, covering units within the FMIPA UI Administration Center, to directly observe the implementation of programs and Integrity Zone innovations. The visitation was accompanied by the Head of the FMIPA UI Integrity Zone Team, followed by an intensive interview and discussion session between the judging team and the leadership along with the FMIPA UI Integrity Zone team, aimed at thoroughly reviewing the implementation, challenges, and achievements attained.
