Depok, May 4, 2026 — The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FMIPA UI), once again took part in the annual held on May 2–3, 2026, at Balairung UI. The event served as a platform to introduce prospective students and the wider public to the faculty’s various study programs, admission pathways, tuition fees, and career prospects for graduates.
is a promotional program organized by the Directorate of Public Relations, Media, Government, and International Affairs of Universitas Indonesia as an effort to introduce the university’s academic environment more closely to the public.
During the two-day event, the FMIPA UI booth attracted a large number of visitors, particularly high school students who were considering their higher education options. On this occasion, FMIPA UI provided comprehensive information on its 24 study programs, covering Undergraduate (Bachelor’s), Master’s, Professional, and Doctoral degree levels.
In addition, FMIPA UI also introduced its new International Class programs for the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology study programs. Launched in December 2025, these programs have opened admissions through the International Class SIMAK UI pathway as well as the Talent Scouting scheme.
In its implementation, the International Class program at FMIPA UI is conducted through academic collaborations with and . This collaboration offers both single degree and joint degree schemes, providing students with the opportunity to experience globally standardized education, including participation in academic mobility programs and involvement in cross-country research collaborations.
Dean of FMIPA UI, Prof. Dr. Tito Latif Indra, S.Si., M.Si., who attended the opening ceremony, stated that is expected to serve as a bridge between prospective students and FMIPA UI, enabling them to gain a comprehensive understanding of the academic environment offered by the faculty. He emphasized that the availability of accurate information is essential in helping prospective students choose an educational path that aligns with their individual potential.
FMIPA UI participated not only through its information booth, but also through a presentation session on the second day delivered directly by Prof. Dr. Tito Latif Indra, S.Si., M.Si. together with Dr. Fevi Novkaniza, S.Si., M.Si. and Dr. Yulia Mariana Tesa Ayudia Putri, S.Si., M.Si.. During the presentation, they highlighted FMIPA UI’s strengths, including its academic achievements, research innovations, and collaborative networks at both national and international levels.
He also explained that education at FMIPA UI is not solely focused on theoretical learning, but also on developing critical and systematic thinking skills that are relevant across various professional fields. According to him, these competencies open up broad career opportunities, ranging from laboratory work to startup industries and public policy sectors.

The event was officially opened by the Head of the Cooperation and Entrepreneurship Agency of Universitas Indonesia, Dr. drg. Nia Ayu Ismaniati, MDSc., SpOrt.(K). In her remarks, she stated that the high level of enthusiasm shown by visitors reflects Universitas Indonesia’s position as one of the leading destinations for higher education in Indonesia.
