FMIPA UI Graduates 337 Bachelor’s and Doctoral Degree Graduates

In the odd semester of the 2019/2020 academic year, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Indonesia graduated 337 students, consisting of 208 undergraduate students, 122 master’s students, and 7 doctoral students.

Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Indonesia (UI), Dr. Rokhmatuloh, M.Eng., officially released the graduates through an inauguration ceremony and thanksgiving ceremony for the graduates. The ceremony was held on Thursday (January 30, 2020) at the Sinarmas Hall, Multidisciplinary Research Laboratory Building, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Indonesia (UI), PT. Pertamina, UI Campus, Depok.

Dr. rer. nat. Budiawan, the chief executive of the ceremony and thanksgiving, reported in his report that 337 graduates graduated in this odd semester, comprising 208 undergraduates, 122 masters, and 7 doctoral graduates.

64 graduates of the undergraduate study program succeeded in achieving cum laude honors with the highest GPA of 3.96, achieved by Vanny Tania Winarta from the undergraduate mathematics study program.

Meanwhile, from the master’s program, the cum laude predicate was successfully achieved by 54 graduates with the highest GPA, namely 4, achieved by Reyhan Dani Lambaga, Sakinah, Ahmad Syahroni from the master’s program in physics, and Diana Novia from the master’s program in biology.

In the Doctoral study program, Niken Dharmayanti succeeded in becoming the only graduate with cum laude honors with a GPA of 3.81.

In addition to being attended by the heads of the faculty and departments of FMIPA UI, this valuable moment for the graduates was also attended by Pamela Cardinale as the Chair of the FMIPA UI Alumni Association (ILUNI), and Dr. Suko Prayitno Adi as Inspector of the Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency.
