To realize the Vision and Mission of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Indonesia, which align with national development interests, particularly in the field of education, the Faculty strives to improve the quality of education and research at the national and international levels through academic collaborations with leading educational and research institutions abroad.

As part of this effort to realize international academic collaborations, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, through the Department of Physics, conducted a series of visits to several universities and research institutions in Japan from November 5-10, 2018.

During these visits, a Double Degree Doctoral Program agreement was signed between the Materials Science Study Program, Department of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Indonesia, and the Department of Condensed Matter Physics, Hokkaido University.
