The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Indonesia (FMIPA UI), continues to strengthen its internationalization efforts. On Wednesday (July 30th), FMIPA UI hosted a delegation from the School of Biological Sciences, University of Edinburgh (UoE SBS), one of the world’s top universities, ranked among the top 50 globally.
The meeting took place at the UI FMIPA Central Administration Building, UI Depok Campus, and discussed collaboration opportunities in three main areas: double degree and joint degree programs, international student exchanges, and interdisciplinary research, especially in biology and life sciences.

The Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Indonesia (UI), Prof. Dede Djuhana, Ph.D., called this collaboration part of the faculty’s global strategy. “We want to build an internationally connected academic ecosystem. Strategic collaborations like this are an important foundation for improving the quality of our education and research,” said Prof. Dede. (delivered in English).
